Hello seniors
how do I check if my WES report is viewable online by CIC??
In logging into my account in WES it shows Service Level: FSWP Credential Assessment. How do I know if mine is the basic package.. According to WES, I paid them $237 in July 2013 for evaluation.
I dont want to waste time later on when CIC can't see my reports online. Sorry if I'm being a noob I guess this question must have been asked a thousand times before!

Since your Service level already shows FSWP Credential Assessment, you are good to go. CIC will be able to view your report online via WES.

Didn't you or aren't you sending the wes report with your application? You have to send your wes report in original form along with the application and after receiving your application if CIO wants to verify which usually they don't they will see the ref number and contact wes so did BT worry about it and make sure you add all documents listed in the documents check list...good luck

Yes I have sent 1 original copy of WES report along with other supporting documents. There are many cases in forum of members being asked to make additional payment to WES if they had availed a basic package. Anyways thanks for sharing the info I just hope my application is viewable online to CIC, as it is I had applied under 2132 in September last week and I'm hoping the cap doesn't go full.

hi everyone,
there was a discussion regarding job duties certificate few pages back.
as per cic website, photocopy is acceptable..
i sent original, ( actually i got two certificates) as guided by my lawyer.
a friend of mine got his packet back on 7th oct. (received date is 4th june), with two reasons
1). job duty letter is not as per guidelines (he sent photocopy)
2). spouse DOB certificate was missing.

we both prepared docs together, but he did not hired the lawyer.

plz guys, am not misguiding anyone, i jst shared my experience
stay blessed...tck

"job duty letter is not as per guidelines" it maybe missed some information like hours per week or annual salary etc.

Congratulation. +1 but karmafied :(

Yes, documents need to sent to NDVO. Only the requested document need to be sent - no other documents need to be sent.

And yes, print out receipt need to be filled up and sent to NDVO. My suggestion, sent the payment receipts and passport together.

Thanks Mate for a quick response! +1 for you!

They have also asked for Medical: Complete or provide proof of completion of the Immigration medical
examination FOR ALL. Guess all these 3 (passport copies, RPRF payment receipt and proof of medical) should be sent together. Do they give any receipt for medical once the tests are done?

Secondly, though my Visa office is NDVO, I am in New zealand currently and will be here until Dec'14. Can I get these tests done from New Zealand while my family gets is done in Delhi? Hope it is not required to update CIC regarding this (getting my medical done in NZ and family's medical in Delhi), since I will be back in Dec'14.

Cheers!!

No difference at all. There is a timing gap between CIO deposit the bank and the money is transferred from other country. It may take 3 days to 15 days to get the local bank know that DD has been encashed.

A rough process flow of transaction is like below:
1. CIC submit DD to Central Bank of Canada (encashment day for CIO)
|
V
2. Central Bank sent it physically to Royal Bank of Canada (DD drawn on the bank) - it may perform same day or take several day.
|
V
3. Royal Bank will verify with ICIC bank in India
|
V
4. ICIC bank confirm and release the money
|
V
5. Royal Bank will confirm getting the money -possible time when ICIC bank will declare encashment
|
V
6. Royal bank release it to Central Bank of Canada
|
V
7. CIO get its money

A recent post by Dimitry also showing the same:

Hi everyone,
Just an update: I've received GCMS notes for my application, and even though I've read a lot about CIC procedures, I've found some of the notes fairly interesting and even surprising :)
Here is the full timeline. Not sure if the order is similar for other offices (mine is Kyiv), but I hope it can still help:

May 6: Application received at CIO.
Jun 2: First record for my application in the CIC database.
Jun 3: Fee encashed according to CIO.
Jun 6: Fee encashed according to the bank who has issued the draft.
Jul 14: PER.
Jul 29: Application sent to local VO.
Aug 6: Application received at local VO.
Sep 1: Criminality check passed.
Sep 3: Document verification completed.
Sep 3: Medicals request.
Sep 4: Medicals done.
Sep 7: Medicals passed.
Sep 10: "Medicals received" line has appeared in ECAS.
Security checks have not been started as of Sep 10 - they fit somewhere below.
Sep 19: "We started processing your application" line has appeared in ECAS.
Sep 23: RPRF request.
Sep 23: RPRF sent & received electronically.
Sep 23, a few hours later: Passport request.
Sep 23: Passport sent.
Sep 24: Passport received.
Sep 26: Visa issued.
Sep 28: "Decision made" status has appeared in ECAS.
Sep 29: Passport sent back.
Oct 2: Passport with the visa received.

Update: It looks like I've misread the date of the first record in the database. Apparently, it's 2nd of June, one day before the fee has been charged. I've fixed the date in the list above.

Hi seniors and members, how will an applicant know if he/she didn't pass the completeness check? Will they notify applicant via email or phonecall or snail mail?

Or will the package be simply sent back w/o any email or other forms of notification?
