There are two possibilities:
- Your DD is going to be charged yet, and you are on the line to get a PER; CIC probably didn't gave out all the PERs related to the 2174 yet;
- Your application was judged not to be complete, and it was returned to you by snail mail. It may take a while (I think I read up to 60 days by other forumite) for the documents to be sent back to you. They don't give any warnings by e-mail.

You should probably send them an e-mail to ask about your file. It takes 30 business days but it may be faster than the files getting to you.

Got my medicals done almost a month back, but my ECAS status hasn't still updated, it is still just on the second line "we started processing your application on ..."
Anyone else with the same situation?

job duties certificate must be original, my friend got his documents back because he sent photocopy with any attestation.

If we check the Work experience letter section in the doc checklist, its written that "Copies (originals may be requested later by an officer)".
I hope our seniors can pitch in an give their expert advice on this

Hi there,

Quick question about the handling process by HKVO after AOR stage. Will HKVO send an email notification to applicants when they start processing the file? Or, the only way to know it is by checking our status at ECAS website?

Hope to see some progress for those who have received AOR from HKVO in August. I see seven of them received AOR notifications on 19 August. Now, almost two months have passed and HKVO has not started processing the applications apart from one lucky applicant ....

Very few people get the opportunity to enter NDVO for interview. If you don't have any proof of your IELTS, get the duplicate one from British Council/IDP.

I have noticed from SS that hot NOC's applicants are getting MR early. What do you say seniors?

Actually i sent original IELTS to CIC, and British Council dont give us duplicate copy if IELTS Result as per telecommunication with british council

In document checklist, they have clearly stated in point 12 "Work Experience" that one should send copies and originals may be requested at a later stage.

I had mine on 4th Oct and see status update today.
may be your doctor isn't e-panel.

Got them done from Max Hospital Mohali. Its the same process they email the results to the Visa office or may be upload them on website.

Well.... I sent copies of my passport along with a copy of the medical letter they gave me from the hospital and copy of the receipt of RTPR fee... along with a cover letter...that's it
