I got it done through ICAS, sorry to inform you that they will take atleast 4-5 weeks. Following is my time line (All docs from education institute reached 3/4 March) and i received my ECA report on 25/26 April

Has anyone done their ECA with ICAS. They web is showing that they have received all the required documents on 6th of April. Any idea when I would get the reports on my hand? I am almost ready with everything else. But without the ECA report I am stuck!! I will apply on NOC 2281. Any estimating of when the mentioned NOC can reach 1000 caps? Please brothers, pray for me..

Yes....since that is what is available.
Remember,the LOR is the most important as it has to be in the right format and contain the expected details in it.
Also,it has to be on your company pad,signed and dated by your G.M.

Brother I report to Managing Director not G.M. I should get the letter signed from whoever I report, isn't it? Or it must be the G.M.?

Hi guys,

I am from india. My brother has done 2 years ITI course in Refrigeration and Airconditioning followed by a diploma in Mech. Engineering. Diploma is normally of 3 years but since he already had 2 years ITI certificate, he got direct admission to second year. So for him duration of diploma was 2 years.

He has done these courses after 10th std.

How many point do you think will he get?

I think minimum 19 points max 21.it depends upon report of evaluating agency.

There are some questions which is very important to know before applying. Please senior member help me for this.

1. I applied last year through consultant. my application was deemed incomplete which i came to know while mailing with CIC. I didnt get back my documents because the address in which they sent my document was incomplete that too i knew through mail. and i dont know the reason of rejection also. I even dont know how the form was filled by consultant because he never showed the form to me. He only asked me to sign in form. In mail CIC has refered one UCI number. Now i am filling my form myself.
Should it be ok to use that uci number or should i left it blank?

2. In my recent work experience letter, there is no job responsibilities mentioned. In my contract letter there is ToR in which all job responsibilities is mentioned. It is ok or do i have to ask them to write the job responsibilities in experience letter too?

3. In our country there is no national id. there is citizenship certificate which does not have expiry date. can i use that as national id and send them that?

Please help me because i dont want to be rejected this time. i have mailed 4 times to CIC but they never gave particulatr reason that made my application deemed incomplete. is their any way to know why i was rejected?

Any of your superior above you can sign it.....your initial request stated that you reports to G.M
M.D or G.M is fine....provided he's your superior.

1)how much fund in Indian currency is required as a proof of fund for single person and for how long ?
2) Is it possible for me to only apply pR for myself at the moment and once I am settled then I will apply for dependent PR for my spouse and kid ?

Hi, I am applying for FSW 2014 under software engineer category. I have a doubt regarding WES attestation. What all education transcripts do I need to go ahead for WES. I have my Engineering transcripts ready. Do I need to get 10th and 10+2 as well for successful filing?

1.Please fill in your UCI number...(even if you don't fill it,it doesn't affect your selection process)
2.Are you by chance referring to Letter of reference?...if its letter of reference that you are referring to,Please make sure it contains all requested details - this include your job responsibilities.With this,any other letter may not contain it but let the letter of reference contain it....IT'S A MUST!
3.You may write it if you wish to do so and you may also use black pen to write Not available...it doesn't affect your selection process.

Stay with this forum and ask any questions bothering you....I'm sure it will be a success this time around.

i did. it took me 20 days to get back everything, so i had a really good experience with them.

So your 6th May is equivalent to me 5th March, rest you can extrapolate. If WES is not an option for you, what you can do is ask for another copy to be sent to your friend in CANADA, while you also send him your complete application. Then he can include your ECA from ICAS and send it. It will save atleast 7-8 days (delivery of ECA to your home country and then time taken by your application to reach CANADA). But keep in mind one thing, Ask for additional copy to be delivered to your friend, not the first copy, let it come to you. I know it will waste few hundred dollars but better than risking the whole process.

Can't say anything for the caps, you can try parallel processing by WES as they are faster if you are applying for one of the HOT NOC's.

I tried to contact ICAS to expediate, specially given that my doc submission was delayed due to one stupid mistake of their's but they explicitly rejected any request for expediating my application.
