Thank you.

Should I expect any email or changes in my ECASE status after I receive PER and before I receive the MR request and the forms to be filled?

THANK YOU AGAIN
You might receive AOR email from local VO (not all send it, I've heard).
Also, more lines will be added to "In Process", i.e.
1. We received your application for PR on ...
2. File processing started and so on.

Hi everyone,
Just an update: I've received GCMS notes for my application, and even though I've read a lot about CIC procedures, I've found some of the notes fairly interesting and even surprising :)
CIC actually does verify the diplomas and work history via independent channels, such as your country official databases / government portals. So make sure the information you submit is consistent and true!
Very nice info! +1

Dear Ananthamsen,
Saw your post regarding the interviwe. I wish to know more about your experience in facing the interview. My application had been received on 13.08.2014. I am unsure whether the process is going on successfully. I'm kinda scared as I had been waiting for couple of years as my NOC was not there in the last year (3012). And I have hired a consultant for the process and have spent bucks on it for the process. SO,it will be helpful if you could give me the details of how was your interview.

Thanks in advance.
Send him a direct/personal message (DM/PM) if you expect a reply.
There are high chances that he will skip that page.

CIC actually does verify the diplomas and work history via independent channels, such as your country official databases / government portals. So make sure the information you submit is consistent and true!

According to the notes, they've also sent a message to my company's CEO (his email and signature were on one of my work contracts). He rarely responds to emails, unless it's really important, so I wonder if he has noticed that email at all - he has never told me about it :D

Also, I've sent them a question once via the "Case specific enquiry" form - and this fact is also noted in the database :) - though, without the actual question text.

Another interesting fact: GCMS notes request was sent on Sep 8 and the response was received on Oct 9, with notes generated on Sep 10 - it looks as if they just keep the notes for a month before sending them back (maybe to limit the amount of requests or abuse?).

Here is the full timeline. Not sure if the order is similar for other offices (mine is Kyiv), but I hope it can still help:

May 6: Application received at CIO.
May 21: First record for my application in CIC database.
Jun 3: Fee encashed according to CIO.
Jun 6: Fee encashed according to the bank who has issued the draft.
Jul 14: PER.
Jul 29: Application sent to local VO.
Aug 6: Application received at local VO.
Sep 1: Criminality check passed.
Sep 3: Document verification completed.
Sep 3: Medicals request.
Sep 4: Medicals done.
Sep 7: Medicals passed.
Sep 10: "Medicals received" line has appeared in ECAS.
Security checks have not been started as of Sep 10 - they fit somewhere below.
Sep 19: "We started processing your application" line has appeared in ECAS.
Sep 23: RPRF request.
Sep 23: RPRF sent & received electronically.
Sep 23, a few hours later: Passport request.
Sep 23: Passport sent.
Sep 24: Passport received.
Sep 26: Visa issued.
Sep 28: "Decision made" status has appeared in ECAS.
Sep 29: Passport sent back.
Oct 2: Passport with the visa received.
Thank you for sharing.

Dear All,

I have got the request for MR & PCC on 9th Oct'14 and given only 45 days to submit these documents along with RPRF fee. Now the catch is HK gives PCC only when request is placed by the immigration dept.

I need your input on two points:

1. PCC from HK will take atleast 4 weeks to send PCC directly to the immigration department.
2. Where will they send the PCC to Local VO or to no Nova Scotia. (not mentioned anywhere in the letter)

Please advice ASAP.

There are two applicants from HongKong HNHYHJ and Fred. See if you can contact them.
Since FBI has increased the amount of time to process PCC, CIC has extended that window to applicants.
Hopefully, you can write to them explaining your situation.

They will send the PCC to wherever you want it to be sent. In this case, you should give them address of => Local VO as that's where your file is.

Dear Friends,

Finally got my PER today (10th Oct 2014)

I am a 20th May applicant for NOC 2173 and had applied through a consultant . On 19th Sep , I got a mail from WES that my ECA was not viewable by CIC.
I immediately applied for the online report and WES confirmed that the sent the report on 24th Sep. In 2 weeks time after submitting my duplicate report, I got my PER.

I would like to thank all the forum members for the support and helping us keep our hopes alive. I will update the sheet shortly.
All that you need is PATIENCE.

Regards
Q

Yes thats correct the notes are generated within couple of days you request it. So at the time you receive GCMS notes they are actually month old.
