I am going to apply under 2172.. My WES report is saying my bachelor is 4 year equivalent Canada degree and my master degree is mentioned as Master's equivalent of canada....

Now my question is, I have read somewhere that for 2172 CAP bachelor degree is required If it is correct then Would I be getting points for master degree or not i.e master degree gives me 22 points and bachelor degree gives me 21 points....
I need 22 points to make 67...

Lot of MRs from NDVO today

Congratulations to everyone who got one!

Just a little doubt with the SS. I remember seeing 94 MRs rolled out from NDVO at the start of the day. Now it shows total of 108 MRs [App Status by VO] at the end of 9th Oct 2014. But on the FSW14 Applicants section, I see a total of 9 people who got MR from NDVO on 9th Oct 2014. There is difference of 3 MR between the two statistics. I may be wrong. Can seniors who maintain the SS verify???

Any comments from experts on this? Is there a possibility of an error in the SS. Am looking at the SS to find the timeline when I can expect my MR...

Compared to NVDO, CPC-Ottowa has definitely not shown its pace, esp for transfer, processing, MR, PCC, RPRF etc.

i can say MR from CPC have stopped completely.... don't know the reason but i guess they don't have enough doctors...

I am in the IT field, so I guess I may fall under 3-4 categories. One of them 2174, I hear is very hot. I have 7 years experience.
Also I heard from a consultant that I would need the IELTS transcript in the second stage of the process which is around 2-3 months from the starting date.

1- Your consultant is guiding you WRONG. you need to send your IELTS scorecard along with your application (in the very first stage)

2- Most of the IT NOCs such as 2173, 2174 etc are now filled..you can try your luck with 2171 and probably with the database category

Does anyone know how 12/13/14th may applicants are recieving Medical Requests from NDVO when there are so many 7/8th may applicants still awaiting Medical requests? whats NDVO's processing logic? my ECAS still says "in process- application recieved on 8th may". It does NOT even say "processing started". So how can 12/13/14th may applicants recieve MR when ours hasnt even begun processing?

Are there any 7th/8th may NDVO applicants in the same boat as me?

me: 8th may application reached, 13 Aug PER recieved...

I think Ndvo is issuing mr to those whose background checking has been completed or not required...
So have patience nd wait for your turn

i just got a email from cic.It is like that :-

Based on the review of information you have provided ,your application has received a positive determination of eligibility to be processed on the basis of work experience in an occupation specified in the Instructions issued by Minister of citizenship ,Immigration and Multiculturalism and published in Canada Gazette on May 1,2014.However a final decision on your eligibility to be selected as federal skilled worker will be made by a visa office.
Your application has now been placed into processing


Guys does it mean a good news that my file has been selected further for processing.

You immediately get 23 points if your WES report indicates that you have a Master's Degree Equivalent. You are safe brother.
