As far as I can tell, there are no changes to any applications. So, we can safely submit whatever we have prepared so far. Good luck everyone!

In how much time I would get to know that my application has got accepted or not?
My file had reached to Nova Scotia on 7th April 2014.

My concern is the NOC I've applied under is almost over (3212--> 274 applications)

Do I stand a chance to get my application accepted? Or I would have to send it again in the next quota.

I am currently preparing my documents and I ahve a question regarding proof of funds.

Currently I do not have it but my mother will give me the necessary funds at any time. It is not a loan and is mines to keep.

Will a large deposit set of flags?

I heard I can do a bank certificate and that will not show the large deposit but I am planning to send my bank statements as further proof of my employment which shows my weekly pay deposits from the company, so they will notice the large deposit.

Under this category i wish to apply for following NOC.


Computer network technicians (2281)

I Understand that this NOC falls under NON Regulated occupation in Canada, I have following doubts:

(1) I did Bachelor Of Pharmacy 4 years program then i enter in profession of Computer Network Technician by obtaining formal training, So my Degree mismatch with my experience, So can i eligible to apply under this category?

Due to high cost of applications i cant take chance without confirmation that Am i aligible or not , So please provide answer to my query.

HI Guys,

I am so happy that CIC opened FSW this year. I submitted my application last year under NOC 2131, but unfortunately, the cap reached by the time I sent the packet. Now, I have the whole packet ready to submit again, except updated bank statement and PCC. I will post my updates on this thread, might help others.

I have one query regarding IELTS Original Copy
1) I have applied in fsw13 for noc 2147 , at that time I have sent IELTS Original Copy with My Application. What is the way out to get another COPY of IELTS Result Sheet ?
Note :: I have not got any reply regarding 2013 application status.
Please help.

Normally you can request the IELTS ogranization (British Council / IDP) to directly send the IELTS test sheet to CIC (they will charge some 1500+ rupees for this). But, as you said you have already sent the original to CIC, so please mention this in your cover letter and send a notorized copy. You can additionally mention that another original copy is on the way and CIC will receive it directly from (BC/IDP)

At Document Check List Point 9 there is a Tick Box Mentioning "" Original unless otherwise stated ".

You are eligible and can proceed to apply but for that you need to get the ECA for the 4 years pharmacy degree...

You can get the 2nd IELTS Original Mark sheet, if you have taken the IELTS through IDP... I also got the 2nd Original Copy of IELTS Mark sheet.

My point of concern is that I work in a branch office here in Qatar & our head office is in KSA (Saudi Arabia), I was able to get reference letter from my IT director who resides in KSA last time but this time around he is on a business trip and it will be difficult for me to get a reference letter signed by him. Can I submit a reference letter from my branch HR and attach the previous one given by my IT director?

Firstly good luck for you application under NOC2281.

My suggestion any supervisor in your organization is required to provide reference letter and doesn't depend on what is he i mean (HR or Branch Manager).
