Hello Guys,

Can we show Public Provident Fund(PPF) and National Saving Certificates(NSC) as Assets? If yes, then do we need to attach proofs of assets with appllication.

Thanks in advance

In my understanding this little tricky situation as PPF had lockin of 15 years (to withdraw 100% and 6 or 7 years to withdraw 50%) and NSC has lockin of 6 years and partial withdrawls are not allowed.
Now it depends how old your PPF account is. If it is more than 7 years so 50% value will be considered.

CIC needs liquid funds which are readily available with you.

Seniors please correct me if I am wrong.

Last week data entry operator from CIC got lost in woods during hiking. He has the paper list of CAP counts to update the cap this monday. Unfortunately he is still not back. Police and sniffer dogs are deployed for search. Nobody in CIC are not aware what was the last counts.

Note, I was stressed out , when saw 12th june CC payment started getting charged last week. Since our DD was not encased last week

Hey nish Welcome to the forum

Have patience you will hear good news very soon.

Please enlist yourself on the SS using the link in my signatures

Finally the golden mail arrived....Got the PER 30 min before....
Thank you all for the wonderful support and helping whenever required.

App Receive date - 11th June
NOC - 2173
Payment Mode - DD (encashed date 29th Sept)
PER - 8th Oct

Going to Update the SS..

Few blunders/mistakes I have made in application -
- No name in native language
- I don't have BC, so got no found certificate from Municipal(native language), got it translated, attested from notary. Attached 10th certificate. Didn't attach notary certificate
- I have 10 years of experience, but in my duties reference letter I gave JD of latest designation (which comes under 3-4 years experience) so CIC might have considered points accordingly.

P.S. It's my husband birthday today so its double celebration time :)

What you think about 12th june CC applicant...., not yet charged :'( :'( :'( :'( :'(

My query is regarding birth certificate.

At the time of sending my application, I could not get my and my spouse's birth certificate. So, I included our high school certificates along with affidavits from our respective parents. The fact that is troubling me is that my high school certificate has only date of birth mentioned but no father's or mother's name. My wife's high certificate has both date of birth and father's name.
1. Now, since I have been able to get birth certificates for both of us, should I send them separately or the above mentioned documents are enough?
2. If I have to send birth certificates now, how should I identify them with my file other than my name?

Thank you to all for helping each other through this forum :)

Today has been better than last couple of days in this week! Quiet a few applications from 18th of June have been approved.

As per SS, there weren't many applications sent on 19th and 20th, and 21st & 22nd were weekends/holidays so I think on Friday, CIC will most likely start charging apps received on 23rd itself!

Quite possible .... Best of luck .. you could hear good news this week itself ... !

btw, how was the pizza ;) ?
