This won't be a reason for rejection. I remember long time ago someone reported getting PER without affidavit from translator for his translated document.VR8 said:Hello All,
Request guidance from senior members on following:
There are different requirements for translated documents, given by CIC at 2 different places:
1. As per guide 7000:
Notarized translation + Affidavit from translator + Certified copy of original
2. As per document checklist:
Notarized translation + copy of original
For my Birth certificate which is not in English, and referring only the check-list, I sent only notarized translation and a copy of original . I did not send any affidavit from translator.
I hope this should not be a point of concern in future, when my application is assessed.
Request guidance.
They won't deliver it on Sunday, however holiday won't be a problem..srbhrn said:How are the IELTS result sent home.. Private courier or local post?
I am asking because I need to know if there is a chance that it can be delivered on a Sunday?? Just waiting for the results to reach home and then send them on Canadian journey along with my app..

I feel your fears mate, i am also a 2173 applicant and i applied in late september due to my consultant delays , still, as i have posted in previous analysis that we could be looking at the optimistic spreadsheet scenario for this NOC, considering the high number applicantions into the SS, so you should be fine. We just need to pray hard and be sure the best outcome will happen!SKumarIND said:Hi Friends,
As 25th August applicant for NOC2173, I am worried and tensed , b'couse as of now cap reached 392. Would my application be within the CAP1000?
Please guide me!

By the way I am your sister not brother...
Thanks Ahmed !! your reply is helpful (and comforting too.. )ahmedmud said:I think you shall be fine, the guide says that the certified copy can be done by judge, magistrate , notary public, etc.. As you have done notary , it should work. Regarding an affidavit from the translator, i agree that it is mention as a requirement in the guide but i feel only for this reason they might not reject the application. The good think you did is you attached the copy of original, some cases are reported when the applications were returned due to non attachment of original copy of the translated document. Good luck buddy.
