In Egypt, which doctor did you go to from the list? And do the doctors here send the results online or by mail? Did you have to tell the doctor where to send it?

Go to the nearest hospital which listed in the web site . they will send it based on MR form. most of hospitals have the option to send as e-report by email

I am in last stage of application filing.. This is what I have filled for my finance section :

1 assets: I own a car and house on my name plus cash and PF equivalent of 132000 CAD

2 liability : I have put my house loan as 10000 CAD as I have half the liability on my name

3 settlement fund as 25000 CAD for cash and epf between me and my spouse who would be accompanying me

Would this be OK?

It's ok as long as the EPF can be withdrawn/liquidated whenever you wish. If not it won't count as settlement funds.

i sent my application without putting my name on declaration on the last page of "generic application form imm 008". however i did sign it in the space provided... it is a blunder on my part

but since i signed it, do i have a chance???

I came to know that other members have faced this problem, request you to please share your experience.

PSK can not say this.....they are fooling you...rules are valid for all over India...they dont change PSK to PSK...They all come under Ministry of external affairs of india and practice same rules.....my address in the passport and the current address were also different...and I got the PCC..its just if address in the passport and the current address are same then you will get PCC same day and if they are different then they will initiate police verification through police station, which will take 1-2 months and then you will get PCC....

just talk to them firmly and tell them to show you such rule in writing, or else you will file an RTI....As per Passport India site http://passportindia.gov.in/AppOnlineProject/docAdvisorSecure/pccPassport, if address in the passport and the current address are different, then you need just your old passport and new address proof....you just show them the print out of above link....they cant deny you...Its your right....
If after this also they are not doing it, then try to visit different location PSK in your city...Last option is to obtain PCC from your district commissioner or DSP office..which i would not suggest...as you know police officers are big thugs...

Police verification can be ordered even if the address is the same, If verification is not done on your passport and also some times it's discretion of the verification officers.
For me police verification was asked and I could get the PCC in 15 days. Was worried that I might overshoot the time given for PCC submission as police verification has no predefined time, but thought I got it in 15 days as I stay in big city.. If your address is a village or a town then PCC could take more time if verification is ordered...
I heard when I went to passport office, for one of the person's PCC took about 45 days.
So apply for PCC immediately you start the application process, even though you don't send it with the application. It will help get rid of lot of stress and headaches.
