So 2171 jumped from 275 to 311 that means a jump of 36 applications every week. By that speed,
1000-311 = 689 spaces left and we are into June 1st week which means if 36 applications are updated every week consistently 2171 would take 19 weeks to fill up i.e roughly 4 months from June 1st i.e Till SEPT 2014.

Is my calculation making sense to anyone, am I correct? What say others?

Hey, you can do it like I do.

For any key information, I sent PM to myself; then I labeled it as CIC. So, whenever I need some key information, I go to the Inbox of this site, then go to CIC labeled inbox mail, and post it here.

I wish i could save some of these posts like this one. At least if needed i could refer to it.

prediction : From 4003 to 4560 probably

CAP updated to 4598. My guess was 4560!!

I agree to gazette - however EE is formally set to launch Jan 1st.. I can only wish the instructions doesnt get overwritten.. BTW - I should have more formal answer on this in the weeks to come

On April 23, 2014, when it was announced that FSW2014 would end on 4/30/2015, it had been known and decided well before that time that EE would start on 1/1/2015. EE was announced in 2013.

I think it is revised 15-30 mins ago. Still 1000 cap for any profession will take a month atleast.

Logically, if they update the cap information, it means that they are 100% that this spot is allocated = they have completed the review of the file on their end and issued PER.

Cheers man ... !!! I think it will be a very close call for me to be counted in for PER... !!!

I'm still positive coz till two updates back NOC1112 was 595/3510.... about 17%
the previous update has a total increase of 595... .and NOC1112 increase by 56.... so NOC1112/total for the past week is <10%
Proves that NOC1112 is not as HOT.... hoping for the 1000 cap to last another 6 odd weeks....

Hopefully some senior member can provide his or hers 2 cents about my interpretation of the cap update....

NOC 2173 Applicant, received at CIO on Sept 26th (last friday!)

Average applications per cap update on the NOC is about 43 (considering only the last 6 updates). If that pace is kept it means that the CAP will be reached in approximately 16 or 17 weeks, which is January 16-23.

Also, the rough average days of application being charged from time of receipt at CIO is about 90-100 days, or 11-12 weeks.

Considering those numbers, i believe all applications under NOC 2173 received at CIO at 90 days before January 16 (Oct 16th) should be safe, give or take a few days.

Here's hoping i am right
