Does CIO email us in case they return the application (if it's rejected)? I saw there are some June 9th & 6th applicants on SS that were rejected. How did they find out?

these applicants did not pass completeness check so their application returned to them

No dear cio don't send any rejection emails. It was an reply to their queries submitted.

This can be mentioned in same ref letter mentioning your different tenors with them and also stating that job duties for both tenors are same and as mentioned below.

I have separate reference letter for both time frames in which my employer mentioned JD's in current reference letter but I do not have JD in previous reference letter since my previous reference letter was issued to me before I joined the same organization again.

DHL doesn't deliver directly to Nova Scotia..... It outsources it to a local vendor in Canada (while combining it with a couple of other packages) and your status stays unchanged for a couple of days. One has to chase them over the phone to get the Waybill no. for local vendor to get the status package. Also, DHL's POD doesn't give the details about the person who received and signed for the package.

Surprisingly my experience with DHL was very good...

Anyways, will avoid in future after hearing so many negative comments on DHL

Yes this year specially they are sending an email(atleast in most of the cases) before u get your package back

I'm a july 29 applicant , i just realized that my passport expiry date is 03/03/2015

do you think i should do something after i receive my per ? coz when they are gonna request my passport maybe it would be the time that i should reissue a new one?

A couple of interesting things happened two weeks back:
1. CIC did 700 app processing in a week..
2. A couple of application from 12 and 13 June were notified for rejection

Here's how I put it in context. 700 apps were tested for completeness 2 weeks back and that covered the period of June first two weeks at that time. that is when the rejected apps were identified as well. Plus the huge flow of cc charge that we are seeing this week is for those apps. CC charge this week has spread across 4th June to 13th June.

What do you guys feel?

I also feel the same . the applications are being charged after thy are checked up for completeness (and published on CIC websites) countrary to what has been mentioned and discussed before ..

Today I received PER.
I have a question, I stated London as my Visa office. But now I am in Canada on student visa. Shall I request for Visa office change to CPC-Ottawa after AOR? Or shall I continue with London Office?
That is sure that I will update my address and status in Canada to the London Office after AOR.

CIC does not send an email in case of NER. It directly sends the package back through snail mail (local post). The guy who received a mail had sent an email to CIC to know the status of his application and in response to that mail, CIC informed him that his package has been returned.
