I agree with Whips. I have not read anywhere in the application guide that asks for a Cover Letter. The only important required doc is the Checklist. Just arrange all docs in order they appear in the check list.

I agree to your point . No detailed Letter is required unless we have something wrong with documentation...

I agree too. I sent all the docs without including a cover letter and still got PER as many others. Another thing will be if you have something important to explain that is not included in the documentation but if everything is ok you should be fine with the Document Checklist.

Hi all, new to dis forum n happy to be here.
i am 26 june applicant for 3142.
I have included experience and reference letters from my work. also i ve included my appointment letter that shows my working hours, benefits and salary. however none of the letters clearly describes my duties and responsibilities. it only says that duties according to the respective department regulations. do you reckon CIC will be happy with it???

No job duties means automatic rejection. Afterall that's the only way CIC will know what your NOC is.

Regarding CC payment, assuming the cardholder name, CC number, CVV number and validity date are correct; however there is a mismatch in the address, will this be an issue of charging? What will most likely happen in this case? Will it cause outright decline of charging? Or it will still float subject to verification by the bank(in which bank will still call the holder for confirmation)?

Address is usually not that important. Your payment will most likely go through fine.

I have received a mail stating that "Your application has been transferred to the visa office in New York, NY, USA for further review of your eligibility and admissibility for a permanent resident visa."
I am in USA from about last 3 years and placed CPC-Ottawa during filing the application form.
Date of application: May 14th 2014
Date of PER received: September 2nd 2014

Please suggest what this mail implicate and why the file is being transferred to New York instead of CPC-Ottawa.
Need advice to lower my anxiety. Looking forward to hearing from you all....

Photo on PCC is a never heard of, here in Delhi as well (when PSK was future, unaware of current scenario) give a plain sheet looks like a A4 paper photocopied into two with a line in between which says both are original, mentions your passport no. and stamps on your passport that PCC has been availed for travelling to so and so country on XYZ date,
so you are good ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

My question is can I change my passport including my wife's while we are waiting for PER? And later after receiving PER we can inform them the recent changes about our work place and passport?

Hi anyone on this forum can help me on the topic of getting PCC done from australia.

1. there are 4 types of National Police checks in Australia. which one we need??
2. the traffic history report for victoria state should be from the day the first australian driving license was issued or the 18th b'dy.
but the traffic history report provided by vic roads is just for last 5 years.

Hi I am from Australia .. PCC is a later stage for me its still time to reach there but can you please tell me that if you have fines on your name then how difficult does it get? My wife is principal applicant though .

You need only police check either from victoria or federal police no need to worry for vicroads they dont need your driving history. They need criminal check . Just apply for police check.

Hello Seniors,

I am planning to send my application under NOC 2172 today. Is there any chance I can make it in the CAP?

Also, I am confused whether I should be sending my individual engineering mark sheets and degree certificate along with WES certificate. I was under the impression that the WES is all enough and no other educational certificates are required.

Is there any harm if i mention my actual liability which is more than the POF that needs to be shown?

Please help me with these queries.
