My application was delivered on May 28th and I got married on June 30th. I have received PER email on Sept 19th. Shall I update NDVO on that?

And how shall I tell them? Through regular mail or email?

Everything is correct. Hoping that you have included IELTS report of your spouse. Self addressed labels are simply typed on computer in blank white sheet of paper. (what is paid or unpaid???) Go a head. GOOD LUCK.

Pooja, one important clarification !!

IELTS for spouse is not a mandatory document.

It is required only if you want to claim additional 5 points for adaptability.

I am thinking to apply for 2172.

My current jobs roles and responsibilities match only 10-20% with this NOC.But I can manage to write required(fake) roles and responsibilities from my employer on company letter head.

Will in future CIC verify my roles and responsibilities from employer?

Is their any risk evolved in it?

Yes there is. If they attempt to verify with your employer and they find out your letter is untrue you will be rejected immediately and banned from Canada for a minimum of 2 years.

Misrepresentation to CIC is a crime. If you aren't eligible under FSW, find another way to immigrate.

How they will verify and from whom like from HR deptt or from me?

Because HR deptt are non technical guys they dnt knw much about technical stuff.

At a minimum, it will be verified with whomever signed the letter. They may also do a physical visit to your workplace (unannounced).

You are right, federal is enough however we are not sure whether state pcc will be requested or not. As the proceess will be same for both federal and state thought of getting from both instead of rushing at last moment.

Find out Govt forsenic dept, or through police station

Yes you need to inform CIC...this is one very critical update they require. this is mentioned on the checklist as well.. i would say both email them and send by regular mail as well.

Got a mail from CIC with UCI and Application number and it mentions: " Based on a review of the information you have provided, your application has received a positive determination of eligibility to be processed "

Also mentions :" Your application has now been placed into processing." along with acknowledgement of receipt of payment.

Is this what we say PER ??? then by God's grace I have received it today...after nurve cracking wait period of about 4 months

ECAS Status: We received your application for permanent residence on June 2, 2014

Will update my details ASAP on s/s
DD charged: 18 Sept
PER: 26 Sept

App date: June 2
