Hi Seniors,

Need your help again. How strict is CIC when it comes to checking of the Supplementary Travels Form? Just now, I spotted 2 inconsistencies with my Form that was filled-out by my agent (I am partly to blame also for not checking it twice).

1. The length for my travel to Qatar from 9/2013 - 8/2014 as a worker was typed "9 months", while it should have been "12 months"
2. My travel to Qatar from 9/2012 - 8/2013 as a worker was not written in the table.

However, I attached all the passport pages with stamps in my applic package.

Are these errors material enough for the rejection of my applic?
Will further scrutinization of this Form just be passed by CIC to VO?

Note also that your travel history form and your work history section in your background declaration form will also be inconsistent.

I think they will at least ask you about it.

A couple of interesting things happened two weeks back:
1. CIC did 700 app processing in a week..
2. A couple of application from 12 and 13 June were notified for rejection

Here's how I put it in context. 700 apps were tested for completeness 2 weeks back and that covered the period of June first two weeks at that time. that is when the rejected apps were identified as well. Plus the huge flow of cc charge that we are seeing this week is for those apps. CC charge this week has spread across 4th June to 13th June.

What do you guys feel?

i believe they need to clear the backlog for FSW and get everything pushed to VOs before the debut of EOI in 2015.

Even i have the same query but according to all senior advice it is good to maintain funds untill PPR comes.
PS: Giving this advice yesterday only i used my fund for an urgent issue ;D ;D

Keeping min 80-85% of the funds is highly recommended to the time you don't get PPR

I have a query. If someone gets MR request with PCC and RPRF fee request and is waiting to get PCC done, is it better to get done medicals done asap and send PCC later when you get it or wait for PCC to get done.

I am asking because I am 9th may applicant and see that people from NDVO are getting medical requests. FBI charged my CC for USA PCC on 16th so not sure when I will get the report.

Even I am in the same boat, my CC was charged on 18th Sep and am not sure when will I get the documents. Vishal, when you received the request for all the documents, did CIC mention a date for submitting FBI clearance?

Dude!

I don't see any risk factor here, If your job duties are well aligned with the respective NOC and it's on the company letter head, signed by the authorized person, and with company stamp, it is acceptable.

But, I don't understand why to fake it. I believe you must have performed the duties in the past and now you just have to elaborate it and customize it, as per NOC requirement.

On a personal note, I will encourage you, since among all IT NOC's 2172 still has scope to accommodate you, all other NOC's are already reaching CAP.

Let's say on the worst scenario, the visa officer may reject your application on the grounds of NOC duties mismatch, or may call for personal interview, that's it. But it's worth to go ahead with all the supporting evidences, and I see it as a smart move.

Hi!

I am re-sending the Generic Application Form for Canada (IMM 0008) (ONE WITH BAR CODES) as i want to correct the typing error in the year of birth of my Spouse. It is 1984 and by mistake it got mentioned as 1987. I had submitted my application on Sep 02, 2014 and If i re-send the form now then will the submission date of my application get changed to the day it will be received, say if it gets delivered on Oct 02, 2014, then will my submission date change to Oct 02, 2014? Please advise.

No, it won't. Be sure to re-validate so the bar codes will be correct.
