don't know of anyone who is reaching out to vo for this. as far as i know, most people are patiently waiting for their mail.

for some people it has taken 90 days and the average is around 49 days.

You are not correct for PPF as it is completely withdraw able when someone leave the job. If applicant is moving to Canada permanently the he is surely leaving the job. Hence PPF is fine. You can check PPF rules for better idea.

Absolutely correct about EPF !! But PPF needs to be checked

Mate, you are confusing Employee Provident Fund with Public Provident fund, which is a govt. scheme with lock-in period of 15 years. EPF can be withdrawn on leaving the job.

PPF can probably be withdrawn if you are leaving the country. Will need to check..

EDIT : PPF cant be withdrawn before lockin period...

DD encashed: 17 Sept
PER received: 24 Sept

WHAT A RELIEF - though can't express my happiness through this post. All the very best to all other waiting applicants...

Some observations for waiting and preparing applicants:
1) I sent a BC of myself and my wife which didn't have our names. Though I included 10th certificate in education certificates for both.
2) I sent ICICI DD which didn't have any validity mentioned, so by default its validity is 6 months.
3) Our marriage certificate dont have my wife's maiden name.
4) I shared multiple documents of my wife documents to cic, one of the document didn't have middle name of her father and others do have. But no problem due to this.

Thanks a lot to all the members(Century, Kollins, Asif and all...).

I lost link to edit my entry in spreadsheet, so can't edit my entry in spreadsheet - admin can you please update the same or i will create a new row.

Thanks Dude. As per my detailed conversion with him what he told me was that it was encashed just yesterday as his consultant enquired from his local Canadian Bank. I was more interested in this matter as my application reached on 12 June so eagerly waiting as I also have sent DD.

Congrats for the future endeavors dude hope you make it. Btw how come did u know about encashment? Did u asked the bank? Were they quick to respond.

No Problem! it is stated in the PER and the you may also ask the bank - proceed directly to the manager and ask if your DD has been negotiated, they should be able to respond in a couple of days. Good Luck!

Yes, it is dependent on medical date. Landing Visa expiry date is usually 1 year from the date of medical tests. I hope it helps.

I am new to this forum but i have been following it since long ago.I have applied under FSWP14 for NOC 5125. My application was received on 6th June 2014. I have not received any mail of acknowledgement from CIO despite of several mails being sent by me enquiring the status of my application. I sent the DD instead of CC. How long would I have to wait, can anyone please help me ? M worried

I would say , follow up with your bank after 1 week.

CIC replies to mails after 20-30 days...so don't bombard them with mails

medical is valid for a year... you have to land before medical expires or before your passport expires.

I couldn't provide my joining letter but provided Experience letter and six months pay slips. My joining letter mentioned wrong date and wrong designation that didn't match with my HR record. I didn't notice that before. Due to this error I didn't include my joining letter but sent my application. I will correct my record and will update that letter in HR record. Do you think it will be a problem not sending joining letter?

Joining letters are optional. Reference letter is mandatory. Don't worry

It depends on where you were residing. You need to go to the relevant police station and submit relevant docs (ID etc.)... In some areas, they have going rates (unofficial).... If you don't pay those rates, they make your life miserable. If you pay them, they will serve you as best as they can (may be in 4-5 days).

I think going through embassy will be the best deal as people in police station asked me for utility bills, NADRA verification slip, embassy letter etc. If embassy is taking too much time, just go to the relevant police station
