Some local visa office notify via email regarding file transfer ( like SGVO) and your ECAS status will take time to change even if u get the AOR email from ur VO

Can somebody advice how does one know if your file has been transferred to local Visa Office and if Processing has started? Does it show up on ECAS?

Jattjalanda7, I guess you are confusing PPF with EPF.
PPF - Public Provident Fund.
EPF - Employee Provident Fund. This the fund which is related to job.

Mr Jatt, rich pal math is correct.
PPF u can take only after 15 yrs, some part like 50% of three yr before CI balance can be withdrawn and so on

so PPF no way for settlement

I am also concerned about 60 Days issue..Even I have not applied for my daughter's passport till yesterday considering SGVO's processing timeline...

After i got the letter today I applied for my daughter's passport and also tensed about getting the passport in hand to submit it to SGVO before the 60days time period

My question is what if baby is older than 60 days by this time?

I mean around 90 days or so ... Just curious to understand

Some finer points about my application which may be helpful to other applicants.

Out of 10 years of experience, I could provide Employer's letter for only first 2 years. ( duties matched with NOC description per the forumites' advice.) For other employer (8 yrs exp), I had provided self declared duties + salary slips + promotion letter + my visiting card.

We had most amount of the proof of funds in a joint account held by myself & my spouse. (again confirmed by formuites that this is acceptable)

Only first name was mentioned in birth certificates of myself & my spouse.. I was little skeptical about this one but discussions on the forum gave confidence that it is okay.

I too wasn't able to send reference letters from both the employers. Sent just 1 with two years experience and supporting docs for the remaining 3 years. I get scared from time to time. A bit relieved after reading your post.
