1 business week equals to 40 hours. 500/40 = 12,5 man-hours if we agree that it takes 1 hour to complete eligibility review per file, which is case specific, but nonetheless. I have strong reason to suspect that the taskforce of CIO engaged in FSWP-14 processing amounts to ~15 CPAs. So, can 15 agents process 500 applications a week? Absolutely.
But what happened in the last three weeks that gave them this boost

But why no PER or CC charges where done in May 2014 itself?

Hey all...just saw the latest update on cic website. Out of the 50 nocs 49 nocs hav at least 1 count. Only 1 noc is thr which has 0...that's 1113 stock dealer / broker. The reason for concern is coz I hav applied for the same. Can anyone pls tell me how delayed this data is? N if it's not too delayed then why 1113 has no count? Coz as far as I know thr is a person from the forum whose cc is charged for 11 13 noc.

Pls help. Thanks.
Hey Angel16, we haven't heard from this forum member since. So we do hope when your Cc/dd charges or you get Per we see that noc updated from 0 to 1 ;D plus you are a 10th June applicant, so the good news is not that far...

All the best to you 8)

Here we are stepping in an area of pure speculation, but I suppose it's all about operations streamlining and senior CIC management classified instructions to get rid of the backlog prior to EE launch.

Hi, I can present a thought to explain this situation.

When they started checking FSW 2014 application in June and July I don't think a lot of case officers at CIC were put on FSW 2014 program, as the focus was to first clear pending FSW 2013 cases at the earliest, plus in that timeframe annual (fall) student visa cases are also handled. These students leave for Canada in August or so, each year.

A lot of case officers have now (September onwards) been deployed on FSW 2014 cases, since some are freed up from FSW 2013 and may be some more from other programs like student visas etc. FSW 2013 applicants are mostly at VO stages now (if not already in Canada, by now) and (fall) students applying to Canada are either in Canada already or have been refused a while back. So nothing pending there!

Since there is a lot of application pending from FSW 2014 and resources at CIC are somewhat available, the focus is on FSW 2014 and hence the higher 'update' numbers lately. This should likely continue till either the outstanding (as in, outstanding for evaluation at CIC) applications for FSW 2014 decrease substantially or a new program at CIC starts (like Express Entry, may be), where the focus needs to shift post receiving large number of applications there.

The above is my line of thought on the asked question.
An interesting analysis. Thanks +1. Although one correction is in order. CIO doesn't process TRV applications (like SP).

Thanks for the reply Boso. Actually I have worked for 3 different companies (total of 4+ years) and the job responsibilities for all three companies fall under same NOC. The other jobs are more than a year longer. I want to get maximum points so thats why want to include the 10 month experience as well.
So thats why I wanted to know if we can round up the 10 months to 1 year and select 1 year ?

60 Days. Also one more question. Can I get PCC for India from local police station or does it necessarilyhave to be from the indian embassy if I am staying in US?

Abhinay. I am in US too; you would have to get it from Indian Consulate in US. PCC orginates from the local office close to your present address.

I am traveling to India in the last week of Oct. Do you think its safe to still apply in Mail to get PCC ? I'm still unsure about it.
