I am new to this forum and I have recently applied for fswp 2014. All I am confused is about the occupational caps and overall caps shown on CIC website which is around 4000 as of 19 sep 2014, and the people on the forum talks about applications review only till first week of June 2014. So, is the cap on CIC website shows applications which are opened till June only and rest are all pending?

That's tough news to get , but don't loose hope yet.

By any chance did you keep a scanned/soft copy of the forms you sent to CIC? If so, could you go through them carefully to eliminate any silly mistakes that may have crept in while filling them?

Did you send a copy of your degree/masters? You only mentioned sending the ECA report.

How many Test Report Forms (TRFs) am I entitled to?
You will only receive one (1) copy of your Test Report Form, unless you are applying to Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC), or United Kingdom Border Agency (UKBA) – in these cases, you can receive two. Proof of application to CIC and UKBA must be provided.

Up to five (5) copies of your TRF will be posted to the relevant institution(s) you have listed on your IELTS application form. Regular postage is free of charge. Charges for courier services and/or overseas postage will be passed onto candidates. Additional TRFs beyond these five can be requested from the Test Centre which issued the TRF. Please note, an administration fee may be charged for additional TRFs. If you have lost your TRF, please contact the Test Centre which issued your TRF.

How can I order more Test Report Forms if my test centre has closed since I took the test?
If the test centre where you took your test has closed we can still send a copy of your Test Report Form to any Receiving Organisation for the first two years after your test. If you have not done so, please check under the IELTS Worldwide Search to make sure that your centre has been closed.

To request a Test Report Form you will need to:

• complete the Application for additional TRFs (from closed centres) form. It is very important that you complete your Family and Given names exactly as they appear on your identification document
• Submit the form by clicking the Submit button at the end of the form
• Include a scanned copy of the passport or identification document that you used when you sat the test (this is done after you click the submit button on the form).
• Test Report Forms can only be sent to organisations that accept IELTS and additional copies will not be sent to the candidate, their families or friends.

There is no charge for this service.

Thanks brother. I just contacted my IELTS exam center and they informed me that they can issue a second copy of the certificate upon official request by email. Let's hope for the best this time. Meanwhile, I'm starting to prepare the doc's for a second application. I hope I will not fail this time.

This is exactly the same point of trk1 which is based on completeness check. CIC checking on the application eligibility first then sending out PER. The question here is what is the basis of the CIC cap reflected in the website and in what week are we already at?

why not consider that the PER is not just an email to be sent to the applicants, it is a decision to be made first, then email being sent.

so they may take the decision of giving specific applicants positive eligibility and add them to the CAP, then start send them emails

Sorry to hear that. U can apply for 1 more IELTS certificate.If done from IDP ,fill a additional TRF form and pay 1250. U will receive in 10 days.

You could get duplicate copy from the organizing body under which you have written the IELTS . ( ie IDP or British Council)
Under IDP its just you have to fill and form and submit he details of your passport , you will get the copy of IELTS test score card
THey charge some fees for it . And also have option to send it via normal post and courier ( based on your demand and fees also varies accordingly)

Thank you body. I just contacted the British Council and they confirmed that they can issue a second copy without any extra fee upon the written request (via email). I just sent an email to them, and I'm waiting fro their reply.

The discussions here as-precise-as-possible calculations based on the group members' inputs in the excel sheet. So a calculated answer to your questions is a probable yes.

I think the cap shown at CIC website is based on CC or DD charged/PER sent. As per updates filled by people in SS we are at first week of june applicants.
May be seniors can correct...if wrong

Logically the cap updates on the CIC website ought to be PER issued (e-mailed or not; as pointed out earlier)

Hi everyone!
I've just received an RPRF payment request! And at the same time my ECAS status has finally updated from "2. Medical results have been received" to
"2. We started processing your application on September 19, 2014. 3. Medical results have been received".

Interestingly enough, they've really sent a medical request 16 days before they've started processing my application.

In today's email they haven't requested anything else except RPRF.

Please check the details/updates of your local PSK. If it states that they treat PCC as walk-in applicants(No appointment required), just fill the form online, take a print and go to PSK anytime before 11 in the morning. They will take the payment and probably issue PCC on the same day.

Now I have to re issue my passport to add my wife name in passport and also same will apply for my wife she'll also need to add my name in her passport.
If I apply for new passport, Will it affect my file? Does Passport number gets changed?
What should I do? Also, Surname of my wife will get changed in passport(It is PATEL as of now and will change to AMIN).
Anyone can give their thoughts on this?

HELLO,

The passport number may/may not change but the old passport number will also be mentioned in the new passport in case if it changes. It wont impact your file for sure. you will just need to update NDVO once you get MR request or they ask you for any clarification on your documents.... All the best.....
