You only need to send a copy and it does not have to be notarized. Please read the Document checklist in detail.

can the bank tell when the DD is encashed ? My bank pre-charged me when preparing the DD.
I am a 29th May applicant. How can I know the DD is encashed?

Request to your bank, they will surely help you. In spite of this if you do not get details, don't worry, you will excited and amazed when you get PER within 10 days of payment received. Good Luck.

Saying that, I did send original from my current company as I managed to get 3 copies of original from HR head.

You dont need to have a Visa to come to India. You need to apply for PIO (Person of Indian Origin) card and you can travel to India. BTW, Canadian Citizens dont need Visa to travel to India. Part of Common Wealth.

I have different unerstanding here. My brother in law is Canadian citizen and he always take the Visa for India :-X
My nephew is by birth American and he has POI and he doesn't need India Visa...somehow he lost his passport and got new one but the POI issued to him had his old passport number and hence POI doesn't work and he applied for visa before travelling to India.

Yeh, I am also clueless. Generally CIO don't say anything for not providing lead statements - most straightway give list of responsibilities.

I'm completely clueless about the issue this forum member has had issue with, but after Googling a bit I believe now IRPA stands for Immigration and Refugee Protection Act of Canadian Immigration. I think there may have been some issue in his application with respect to a regulation (10) in the IRPA.

Yes, my DD got encashed in july...status changed to in process after that and till now I haven't got my PER mail.

Someone suggested in the forum, that we should also check our SPAM folder in case if we have gmail id. Sometimes such kind of mails gets added in the spam folder.

Statistics /Experience and other indications suggest that it is based on the PER.

I have got PER on 12th Sept and would like to know whether I need to inform the VO office about my new Job or not at this time. Since NDVO will not send any AOR, I want to make sure to let VO office know about my new job.

Can anyone suggest me what is the best time to inform them or should I have to wait till I get Medical request from them.

If one is doing payment online on "https://eservices.cic.gc.ca/epay/welcome.do?lang=en" then:
1) Is it mandatory to make payment usinf credit card or visa or master card will also work.
2) What amount as per rupees should be transfered.

Please keep in mind that You can't make FSW application fee payment online. You should pay either by DD or by credit card. Visa and Master card both will work. GOOD LUCK.

For applicants who selected Cairo VO, my application has been redirected to Ottawa CPC VO

Ohhh.... Good for you my friend.... I really wish I knew this before sending my application, I'm egyptian too but unfortunately chose London VO as i'm resident in Saudi Arabia, thinking it should be better than choosing Cairo VO.... my application already reached CIC on May 30th, I guess it is too late now, not really sure if there is any option to change VO after application is with CIC now???? hope any one can answer me
