Today CIC is sleeping as of now .... I am expecting 2nd June to start charging today in another 7-8 hours ........ CHeers to CIC speeding up .... yeaaaaaa !!!

I was earlier called by Tarun Kumar and later got my name changed to Tarun Kapoor. My passport, work contract, bank account are in the name of Tarun Kapoor however my educational docs says Tarun Kumar. Do I have to send an affidavit to state the change??? I also have the original copies of tge newspaper cutting where this change was published???

Its advisable to get an affidavit. attach notarized xerox copy of the newspaper cutting. As long as you submit enough evidence, you should be fine.... Please note submitting extra evidence doesn't harm you ....

One query plz,since we`re expecting a baby in nov sent a cse if we can get the medicals post delivery.i ve sent the rprf receipt,passport copies and baby bc papers to delhi cic yday.do i get any update from them that they received the same?

Hi Seniors,
In the MR mail, its stated - " Please send Photocopies of your updated/valid passports (only Bio page) for all . Please do not send the original passports unless requested to do so."

Now, do i need to send the photocopies of the passport with the pcc or should i send it without delay?
do i need to notarize them?
pls advice

Notarization is not required for passport copies.

Hello Seniors,

I am 28th May applicant for 2173

Just now came to know our card was attempted 3 times ...........12th,15th & 16th...Currently we are in abroad and our phone was kept in India(Parents were keeping the mobile..They could not read the SMS )


Reason for decline international credit limit.(HDFC bank ) .... We have corrected the issue now.

Is there chance for another try ?? How do we contact CIC ??Pl share the email and phone nos .

All our efforts went waste.

As it has been done 3 times already, I am not sure what is the next course of action but my advise will be:
1. Get HDFC to allow international transaction upto1lac
2. FAX CIC that they can attempt to charge your application again and mention the reason for failure in previous cases.
3. Also send a hard copy of the fax to them directly via super express courier.... UPS should be there in 5 days ....

It's my humble request to all the credit card applicants, please please please take a step further and call your bank to increase the international credit limit so you do not have to loose your chance just because of such a silly issue

I am 30th May applicant under NOC 2171....Today morning i received a message "A charge of CAD 1100 has been initiated on your CC"...

Its all because of your best wishes and the efforts put by the mentors on this forum. Hats off to you guys who are doing really a great job ;D...

Wishing all the best to all the applicants, and may soon all guys have good news and finally get their PRs ;D....Thanks a lot ;D


Also i would like to know from all the senior members that, does CC charge means that my duties mentioned, matched the NOC category i have applied? Or is it that it is still to be evaluated?
As i was bit worried about the roles and responsibilities mentioned in the reference letter.
