Yes, you can. All that matters is your JD should match your appropriate NOC. Its not like you cannot apply under NOC 1111 if you don't have Chartered Accounting professional qualification. Best wishes.

This is from the last year SS and it shows almost 2 month gap between the date which the CAP is filled and the date the last CC has been charged, so we can say that they update the website based on appls that has been charged or PER, whatever not by received apps that day or week

Please read the below. My comments, optimistic on the last sentence, provided you have extensive experience.

Employment requirements

Chartered accountants require a university degree
and
Completion of a professional training program approved by a provincial institute of chartered accountants and, depending on the province, either two years or 30 months of on-the-job training
and
Membership in a provincial Institute of Chartered Accountants upon successful completion of the Uniform Evaluation (UFE).
Certified general accountants and certified management accountants require a university degree
and
Completion of a training program approved by the Society of Certified General Accountants or Society of Management Accountants and several years of on-the-job training
and
Certification by the Certified General Accountants Association or the Society of Management Accountants.
Auditors require education, training and recognition as indicated for chartered accountants, certified general accountants or certified management accountants
and
Some experience as an accountant.
Auditors may require recognition by the Institute of Internal Auditors.
To act as a trustee in bankruptcy proceedings, auditors and accountants must hold a licence as a trustee in bankruptcy.
Licensing by the provincial or territorial governing body is usually required for accountants and auditors practising public accounting.
Additional information

There is limited mobility among the three professional accounting designations of chartered accountant (CA), certified general accountant (CGA) and certified management accountant (CMA).
Progression to auditing or accounting management positions is possible with experience.

Ney, it is not that good. Add more responsibilities. Minimum 5 responsibilities need to be incorporated and matched with NOC. You can add a few more also that is not totally match. If you want me to review and help you, you can share in the forum or PM me.

However, do you not think there could be a lag of 20-30 days between completeness check and charging due the large amount of applications received this year, when compared to last year. Could it be the case that they segregated these two and that could be a reason?

The lag of 20-30 days (dont know exactly) between completeness check and charging is mainly due to the large number of applications this year compared to last year. The guys checking the completeness are surely different from the guys in charge of handling fee payments, so do the guys sending PER mails and so on. Without division of labor, it wudn't be possible

That's not meant for people applying for PR.

That meant for HRSDC purpose. They use this requirement at that time of issuing LMO/LMIA or to extend it. It has nothing to do with PR.
