Hi Guys,
I have a question related to rejections in Medicals due to eyesight.
I have a condition called lazy eye (amblyopia), wherein I am unable to see clearly (No focus, so can't read) from one of my eyes (right eye) while I can see very clearly without any spectacles via the other eye (left eye). The condition occurs when the brain uses one good eye to form vision and neglects the weaker eye, wherein the condition degrades with age. The lazy eye by itself is not defective and hence there is no such cure for this treatment, but just to practice few hours daily to see from the bad eye and cover the good eye. After consulting various ophthalmologist's, the final conclusion is, that no surgery, nor spectacles can cure this medical condition which occurs at birth, and they even told me the day I loose my good eye, I may not turn blind, but the brain will start using the weaker eye and those muscles will grow stronger and one day vision would be restored.
Now. is there a chance I can get rejected in the medicals for having proper eyesight only through one eye, reason being the other one is a lazy eye?
Thanks..
Thanks
