dear friend I believe more than 50% here are Indians.... for ex ME and trust me I agree to your point about government university thing...I graduated from government university ...visit them personally they will do it...even I was amazed that they knew what I want... so India has upgraded little bit but it has... yes sometimes you need to do some waiting but u will get it...

Hello ! Only ECA report is required to submit in original. Other supporting documents like degree certificate, marksheets should be attested by a Public Notary. No need to send in originals or fresh issued by your University.

Can someone explain how all of a sudden the number of apps for NOC 2171 in the spreadsheet went up by almost 50 since yesterday? The number of apps were 254 yesterday and now its 303. I dont remember the exact count of the other NOC's but I believe those also shot up since yesterday.

i worked with nestle and now in glaxo smith kline...both reputed MNC..they dont provide me JD..I have appointment letter,salary slips,promotion letters,increment letters,Income tax return...

is any one from forum got their CC charged by giving self description jobs and responsibilities...???

Currently 28th May applicants are being processed.

You only need one PCC from one country, no need for states.

You need to submit PCC from where you have stayed last six months or more time.

Hi Hxt,
That's the count in the Cap Estimates sheet - it has changed its meaning (and title) a bit. It now also considers number of applications that were sent before today but will be added to the spreadsheet later. You can see my post on the previous page for details.

Your Analysis, is seriously shocking and demotivating to handful of aspirants like me.... who are fighting against all odds, convincing ourself each day, that we can pull it through ... and trying to put an application together...

i know we are late,, and no one else to be blamed for current state except ourself, for being unaware that, FSW was opened. I check this spread sheet everyday.. and look at the pessimistic date... and focus on what all is left.. Irony, is I looked at it 8 hrs back .. and was saying, I may make it... but the latest updated spread sheet stares me in my face and say " Get Lost... Doors Closed"...

Your Brillance is much appreciated, but yes the result is quite DENTING !!!

Hey, the estimate is supposed to be used as a notification that it's better to hurry up, not as a demotivator! No one can be really sure when the caps get full - until CIC officially tells so.

1) There how do we denote present year and month or shall i leave it blank and hand write it as "Present" ?

You should mention the dates of your present activities. It will cover all what they want.

Hi guys,

Just got to know about this forum today and joined right away.

I am Software Developer with 4+ yrs of professional work experience specializing in database technologies. I am confused between NOC 2172 and 2173 (latter is bit more generic and can expect more applicants there).

I know I am quite late in this race, so can I still apply now? I mean are there chances of me getting success?

Planning to take up the IELTS exam somewhere first week of October.
(FYI - I had my initial assessment and got 46 excluding IELTS score)

Please advise. Help much appreciated.

Hi, Can anyone help me..

I was trying to fill form no IMM5669E(background Declaration) .

I find it difficult to include my address in in Section 12 (Street and Number area) . I find that only 30 letters can fit in that area.

1) Is there any way to include more details in that area .(Some of my address are quiet long)

2) In Personal history section in Sec 8 of IMM5669E(background Declaration) . , How do i use additional paper for my all 10 year activities? (can i print one more copy of the same form?

You have to attach separate sheet where the space is insufficient. Don't forget to mention the name of main applicant, NOC code and the section for what you are attaching this sheet. Please read instructions printed in this form and also mentioned in guide.

It is not mandatory for the supporting documents to be attested by a notary public. Simple photocopies would be sufficient.

Because you specialize in database, most appropriate NOC for you is 2172. It's also advised to select that one because it just has 30 completed applications so far, as per CIC, so you'll have good chances of falling within cap even if you apply in October. It's definitely much much safer than 2173. Hope this makes sense.
