I am a silent observer of the forum and it has been really great to learn with you. I have submitted my application for NOC 0013 and it was received by the CIO on June 25th. I do have a question to the colleagues and would be interesting to hear your perspectives on this: I have landed as a PR in 2009, got PR and SIN Cards. For several reason that would not fall into compassionate grounds, I could not move to Canada for good and I ended up not fulfilling the minimum residency obligation in order to renew the PR card. My PR Card expired last May and added to that I had a child born earlier this year who do not have the PR status. Therefore I decided to reapply for myself, spouse and child. The fact is that I do not lose the PR status unless an Immigration Officer clearly indicate so.
Do you believe or foresee any risk in the new application to be denied based on the above?
One more question, I did not submit an IELTS result as I understood and sent a cover letter indicating that as I have a Master´s degree from a US university (also validated by ICAS) that the language proficiency would be proven. Any thoughts if this would be an issue?
Thank you all! And good luck to all those in process!!

Now in case I re-apply, I have a few questions.
a) Can my sister pay on my behalf in Canadian dollars? She lives in Toronto and if possible she can use the CC. The question is, if it is allowed or not?
b) Do I need to send a new PCC? Or any other docs that need to be renewed? My IELTS is valid till next year and I also sent PCC with my application.
But, I would prefer contacting CIC about this matter. I can call them on Monday and explain everything. Can anyone tell me their number??

Here goes your answer. Just some wild calculations and guesses though.
As per spreadsheet 69 members out of 262 for NOC 2171 have been charged fees or in further advanced stages.
CIC site mentions 191 nos. to date. (again around 33% representation on this forum which is more or less in line with our estimates)
There are 172 members ahead of you as per SS who have submitted their applications before 3rd Sept 2014. Extrapolating, as per 33% representation for this NOC, we get around 510 candidates ahead of you at this stage.
191+510=701.....
So I guess you are safe as per these rough calculations.
