I am new to this forum and this is my first post. Hence may have a lot of queries in the coming days.

I have following queries:

• I am a looking for a reliable consultant in Chandigarh (INDIA). Please let me know if you know one who has received success in applications this year.

No Idea on any consultant. Group is sufficient enough for our queries.

• Is there anyone here who applied under NOC 2173 and got the DD encashed? Can you please provide me a sample experience certificate made from the employer

I have applied under 2173. Follow Main duties under link http://www5.hrsdc.gc.ca/noc/english/noc/2011/quicksearch.aspx?val65=2173 your duties should match this. the letter from employer must be on the company's letter head, by HR (if possible), signed and stamped, with your full name, designation/role, hours of work, number of years (table format would be good), followed by duties. It should have HR's full name, designation, email address and/or phone number.

• I am planning to submit the PCC later. Do I need to submit an affidavit now when submitting the application?

Affidavit for PCC. Not required. its mentioned in the checklist that Police clearance can follow later after application. So no worries.

Received my PER today!!!

May 22nd applicant, NOC 2174. SS updated.

I'm using the services of Campbell Cohen as consultants, and made my payment through them. I believed they enclosed a DD with the application, but my PER acknowledges a credit card payment, so I changed this information accordingly. I do not know when the CC was charged, though.

Good luck to all the members, and may we all meet for a beer in Canada!

i changed my job after i submitted my application.

so do i have to email my Visa office or i have to send an mail ?

also when i send the new employment letter should it also follow the format where i have to mention all my duties and responsibilities ???

someone in forum is commenting that this 202 cap is till 21st MAY....if this trend goes, i fear something bad may happen

It's true that 202 CIC cap is till ~ MAY 21/22.
As per this trend, NOC2174 Cap will be reached 105/110 day after May 1st! -> Aug 15/20!
BUT from SS, num of received apps. seem to be significantly decreasing from June on! Then if this reflect the global trend! (which is very probable!!), I am still confident that your apps will be Under Cap!

Same thing happened to me. My CC was compromised. I filled in the new payment form with new CC card details. Also attached a letter from Bank saying that my CC was compromised and they are issuing me a new CC. May application was received by CIC on June 11. waiting for the CC charge :-X

would like to hear from you, when yours is charged.
I am thinking of using draft now, to be more safe, but not sure, if I can send a draft now, without application, will it be lost ?

I am not sure, but if you change your job you no need to inform VO, just if you change your address.

as I've sent my application without attaching my educational documents with ECA, can I send a separate application now ?
notably I have another TRF of IELTS and another original ECA as well.

You can send them now but clearly mention
1. Receiving date of earlier application
2. Primary NOC
3. Your personal info like Full name, DOB, Passport number etc so that they can clearly identify your earlier package.


If your NOC is hot then you can probably send a new application.

Hi Dimitry,

Quick question mate: I just looked at the SS for the 2174 new additions in September and August. Are these all really newly added or some could also be cases that lost their update link and had to put in fresh entries because of that (but were likely in the SS earlier too)?

Most of those September ones seem new but some August ones seem familiar from earlier, hence the question.

Hi Oscar,
well, most of duplicate entries are detected and "merged" with a newly entered entry automatically. The "Entry Created" timestamp is taken from the older entry, so for the purpose of the estimates we know exactly when an entry was added for the first time.

It's possible that some small amount of duplicate entries exists (people should use their edit links to avoid that! ). Mostly they're difficult to find even for a human. I go over the spreadsheet from time to time and remove them using a special slower algorithm that can detect them, but usually their amount is not significant to affect the estimates much.

I am not sure, but if you change your job you no need to inform VO, just if you change your address.

Wrong, change in job and in any major event in your life will need to be updated. Such changes should be mentioned to the VO with updated forms and supporting documents. In case of world citizen, only updated info and form need to be sent, no need to send reference letter as the qualifying part has already been done and the new job won't be necessary for anything at all. You can either email CPC-O and ask them what to do or wait for MR and then submit the updates.

this is 4th time they are issuing a new card.
I did a mistake, should have foreseen this!
