I got my PER and not submitted PCC along with application.
Now Can I start processing for my PCC?
What is the PCC validity requirement from LVO?
Or should I wait for some intimation from LVO regarding PCC?

Congrats on your PER.

I would say wait for official request for PCC from LVO.

It can be different for different VO, either 60 days or 45 days.

Hi Seniors!!

I am in a very very stressful situation.

Proof of settlement fund is in a joint account with my wife.I just realised that the bank account has my wife's name with her married surname in the joint account holder's name. All her other documents are in her maiden surname as she does not wish to change her surname post marriage.

So now all docs we are submitting are in her pre marriage surname but just the POF document is in her married surname. Do we require to submit an affidavit? Wht do we write in the affidavit as this is not a change of name, just a case of one document with her married surname that we had to do as the idiot bank manager insited that the acc has to have her married surname. Please help, I wanted to send my docs out this week

I m sure you are enclosing marriage certificate in your application

In cover letter you can mention this .

Guys I finally received PER mail on 10-09-14 !!

DD charge date 10-09-14.
Application received date : 22-05-14
NOC : 2172

Good luck to all waiting in anticipation of good news . May God shower his grace on us all !!

Guys some help needed...

During this time i was blessed with a baby.
I want to include him in the application. The mail asks to inform the visa office of any changes in the application but havn't provided any id.

1.) Should i reply to the PER mail or to NDVO (mail id needed) ?
2.) I changed my address and wife's surname also during this time. Will this affect/delay/cancel the application process ?
3.) or Should I wait for MR request to give above details ?

Yes CanOl, you are right that CC is not safe then DD.
But there many Benefits to pay with CC then DD.

Advantages:
1) Once payment get charge, it will be reflect in email and message immediately.
2) Amount will only be deducted only when payment charged, not have to spend cash in advance.
3) No DD making charges.
3) No Tension of Validity like in DD and No tension of fluctuating Dollar value.

Disadvantage:
1) Always take care of CC until it get charged, if lost or damage then it will be a problem.
2) If CC will not work at the time of charging (very rare chances if given details are correct).


So benefits are more then disadvantages if you take care of your CC till payment get charged.

Are you sure you wanted to type " no tension of fluctuating dollar value " in advantages
If yes then please explains how can be it useful/advantage on dollar hedging
( I always use to thought in dd we don't have to worry about dollar fluctuations )
