Completion Check: It is first stage where they check whether all documents are provided according to document checklist which is required to assess your application. If application is found complete they charge CC/DD.

Eligibility Check: This is second stage where you application is assessed based on six selection factors to see if you are eligible under FSW, and to verify that you have minimum 67 points based on information you provided. If you successfully achieve minimum 67 points then they issue you PER.

I wanted to obtain my PCC before the file is transferred to New Delhi CHC

1) PCC of germany

Have any of the Forum members have the experience of obtaining PCC from Germany from Federal Office of Justice
Visitors Service Bonn.


2) I have submitted details for Indian PCC on PSK website and scheduled an appointment with PSK for PCC

3) For Belgium PCC , i have connected with authorities in Belgium and they told that they would send the copy to my residential address in India......


Need help for German PCC,Any experienced members do help me on the German PCC.

Just got a little confusion here. In India there are PCC issued by Passport Seva Kendras where the Passport officer will be the authority who issues PCC. On the other hand there is also PCC issued by SP/Commissioner of Police. I have enquired about both and both respective offices said they are issuing PCC.
Which one is the correct one ?? :-[

I have two old passports also.
Was I supposed to send all pages of all passports or first and last pages of the latest passport?

I think you were supposed to send all PP's. Coz the document checklist under 'Travel Documents and Passports' say as "pages showing amendments in name, date of birth, expiration etc" . But i guess, this may not lead to rejection, as i don's know if CIC would know about the earlier PP's unless its mentioned in your latest PP.

PSK will also forward PCC from SP office ...

For districts other than the Punjab:
Applicants should contact the local Senior Superintendent of Police/ Superintendent of Police/ Commissioner or Deputy Commissioner of Police, the Additional Commissioner of Police, or the Station House Officer (Police clearance certificate issued by the Regional Passport Office are also acceptable.

For residents of the Punjab:
Only the Senior Superintendent of Police or the Regional Passport Office may sign a Police Clearance Certificate.

Non-Resident Requests
Applicants should contact the Indian embassy or consulate.

Hi Friends,

I'm happy to say that I just received a email from CIC requesting for Medical and PCC.

Along with this 2 they have another request which I'm little concerned. They have asked for "An explanation regarding funds deposited in Bank of America account between March and April 2014 and documents to show origin and source of funds".

I have few questions about the same:
1. The total Balance that was shown to CIC at the end of the April (Statement Balance) 3.8 K USD
2. Which is fine, but as mentioned above they have asked to show the origin. The total deposits during that period I have 17.5 K USD. Of which 15.5 K is pay(me & my wife's pay) and 2 K is a deposit from my friend. And also the beginning balance is 3.5K

So the real question is do I just show the Pay stubs and the Bank deposit check images and say that's my pay or the big question do I have to balance all the transactions and explain.

On a side note I never saved all the money but when I get my monthly statements the average ending balance is above 15K USD and I can show the same even today going for more than last 6 months.

Please suggest how to proceed with this.

Whatever you say but it seems that FSW 2014 is in full swing.... Everyday we are hearing couple of CC Charged, DD Encashed, PER Issued and MR and PCC request....

MR and PCC submission is in applicants hand... So hope that will in full swing in next 2-3 weeks... For future applicants who got PER start working on PCC and other required documents and as soon as receive the MR submit the docs in next 2-3 days.. No need to wait till 44th Day

Hope most of the cases of 217X will be done by end of this year...
