there is one more query that when I took a copy of my form from my agent of the form IMM 0008 has marking of march 2014 month and now the new form has june 2014 marking in the end of form page. This is making me very much confused if my application will be returned or considered. My NOC is 1111.

Please solve my query.
I am residing in uae and i am filling my case from india and selecting visa office as NDVO. My worry, i know it is too soon to ask, is when they will ask for my passport do i have to go to india and submit the passport there for stamping?

You cannot send PP by Post or Courier to India because its not legal. Also, NDVO cannot send your PP back by post to you in the UAE from India because again its not legal (in India). Therefore, you have 2 choices, first - you send an official request (postal) to NDVO requesting that the VISA Stamping be transferred to the VO in Abu Dhabi. This has worked for 1 applicant that I know of but he did not provide me with any further information beyond the fact that it worked (over PM). Secondly - you can send your passport via a relative or family member with a Letter Of Authorization to carry your passport across International border. There is also a third option - you use the courier agencies who deliver it but they will not accept any risk should anything happen en route. If you do use the 3rd option, remember, you have to provide a return address within India for NDVO to Deliver it back. They will NOT mail the PP outside India.

How much time normally it takes for the whole process of stamping?

I would guess 4 weeks or 6 weeks worst case.

Do i have to leave my current job and go to india for submission? (The employer will not leave me for more then a month)

Can i do my medicals in uae?

Medicals can be done in any country with an Authorized Medical Practitioner / Medical Center as listed by CIC. So the answer is YES.

Also, i will have to apply for pcc from india and from uae. Do they put a stamp on the passport when they issue pcc, saying pcc issue for what purpose.

YES The Consulate General of India in Dubai will stamp your PP post PCC has been issued to you. You have to first acquire the PCC from Dubai Police and then submit a request to CGI Dubai/AD for a PCC via IVS Global.

Dear Seniors and helpers,

I have a small problem.

I have my PER mail on 28 Aug 14. I am from India and so my visa office is New delhi visa ofice NDVO

However currenlty I am in Germany for work purposes, and will be staying here for another one year. My question / query is

1) How long will it take for me to my MR mail?
2) Can i submit my medical from a hospital here in Germany?

Medicals can be done in any country with an Authorized Medical Practitioner / Medical Center as listed by CIC. So the answer is YES.

3) Can I request my file to be transferred to Germany visa office since I cannot give my passport for stamping visa if I am here in germany?

If you have not yet lived in Germany for a period of 1 Year or more then you cannot request a file transfer to the VO in your City in Germany. You maybe able to request that the VISA stamping process be transferred to your City so that you do not have to carry it back to India for stamping. I say maybe because this is on VO's discretion. You would generally have to provide them with a proof of you living and working in wherever in Germany justifying the fact that you cannot travel back to India for a prolonged period of time.


4) If ans to above question is yes, what would be the impact to my visa time and does it have any effect on further procession of my application?

I know of one applicant who got a response from NDVO after 4 weeks of placing a request with NDVO for the transfer of Visa stamping from NDVO to a VO in the UAE.


5) Whom shall i write a request to transfer my file shall I write to CIA in Canada New Delhi Visa office

Again - if you are eligible for a file transfer to a VO in Germany, then you have to send an updated version of the Generic form to CIC (which may cause your application to be placed back in the queue to the date of the receipt of the updated form). If you are not eligible or you choose not to go by a VO in Germany, you could get the stamping process transferred to a VO in Germany. This request will have to go to NDVO post PPR.


Please reply since i have to write email to the concerned authorities immediately.

with so many new entries in the spreadsheet, adding/updating an entry has been becoming more and more sluggish recently. So a new optimization has been done: adding/updating entries is now several times faster, and it does not cause slowdowns for current viewers of the spreadsheet anymore
It also improves spreadsheet loading speed and indirectly improves reliability.

Internally, some fairly substantial changes have been done for this, but on the outside everything looks the same.

but wht about the finger printing form fd-258 ?

on the fbi website they talk about the finger printing card for fd-258.... is it okay to print the fd-258 on a regular paper and take finger prnt on this form?

Yes you can just download from FBI and take the print of it.... no need to buy the cards separately.
