Addendum to Oscar7 post above.

Note, I am not aware of Sachin's case

based on analysis of some of the rejections due to ECA, I think the main reason is that the ECA statement does not say "Post graduate or higher degree completed", They only award point for highest degree for which it is stated as "degree completed"

Your ECA says " 3 years of hospital study and certificate in midwifery". To me it looks more like a Certificate with "on job training" in hospital. Don't know how CIC interprets it.

In my opinion, if u get 67 points with only 19 points of Post secondary education. Then, u can get ur 12th grade education certified by WES (a quick fix). That will provide u "COMPLETED POST SECONDARY EDUCATION"

However, if u need those points, then as Oscar suggested go for ICAS or UoT

hi im 3.5 year diploma nurse from india...i got WES report says" 3 years of hospital study and certificate in midwifery"......my consultant says there is a chance of rejection with this report....can any tell about this matter.....what should i do? i have already sent my application and its recived by cic on 4th july.....my consultants never said this before sending the application....now he is telling that..i have to upgrade my wes report with higher secondary credential...to get another eligible report and its should be electronically visible to cic before reviewing my july4th file.......im again preparing for wes...friends is there any hope?

I sent my application on June 26th under the occupation of managers in health care (0311). I noticed that most of you applied in May. So, what are my chances to be approved and when to expect a reply from CIC?

Alright I was feeling quite confident earlier however reading last few posts Now I have a query as well; my ECA states this info

Credential: Bachelor of Arts
Institution Status: Recognized
Admission Requirements: Secondary School Graduation (BTW does this mean 10th or 12th)
Length of Program: Three Years
Canadian Equivalency: Bachelor's Degree (4 years)

I thought I would get 21 points under Education, what do you guys think?

Please help.
