I'm confused about which city/province to choose to enter on the generic application form. NOC is 5125.

I wonder if I choose Toronto over Ottawa or Calgary will it take more processing time since Toronto is more widely chosen city. Any ideas, and inputs?

Thanks future_canadian. But when I check the status on the website, it says "We received your application for permanent residence on May 12, 2014" and B.T.W. how much time CIC takes to send the application to local VO.

Its usually 1-2 months required to get any official confirmation (AOR) from Local VO .......

Choosing of city has nothing to do with your application processing time. Choose any city of your choice..

I think u are talking about PER not PR............

Since its too far if u are talking abt PR ( if u are Under Singapore)....

U are too close of the PER email....Just wait for a month more ....

It will be on ur mailbox....(hoping so)...

2. After successful entry into the form, you will be redirected to a page. Please click on the "Edit your response"

3. Now you will redirected to another page, where you will find all your current entry in a from. For change or add entry in future either bookmark the page or copy and save the address from the address bar.

4. If you forgot to save "Edit your response" link, please resubmit and save it for future update. You old duplicate entry will be removed.

My app was received last May 14 and paid through DD. Still, I have no idea whether it was encashed or not and the ecas can't identify me. Is it over for me? What's your take?

It would be great if those who announced that their CC/DD got charged to update the spreadsheet as well.

Buddy there is still around 210 applicants ahead of u whom are waiting for PER (up to 13th May)...

Do u think -is it still logical to think about the game which is over for u??

Just stay relax and wait for ur turn....Everything has just started not ended....

Best is to contact the bank if the DD got encashed yet.

I contacted the bank but they said they cannot track the DD if it's encashed or not...

I am one of the people who are closely watching the spreadsheet and this forum. My application reached June 4. The wait is killing me! ;D
