Hi all..
I'm finally done collecting all documents
and now would need some help mostly with filing the forms.
I'm new in the forum however I tried researching first for the my questions but didn't get firm findings. Hope anyone experienced would care to share info, here are my doubts:
Schedule 3
1. Q3b: Do I need to check the box if 3a answer is No?
2. Q7c and Q9b: Do I need to check the box at all ? I'm single & no common-law relationship.[/b]
Q12b: Primary occupation is 0121 (manager real estate) with below details
2004-2005 - 9 months - Agent (not manager, not handling other staff but myself) - part time
2005-2007 - 2 years 1 month - manager level, handling team & run office operational - matching with NOC description - full time
April 2014 - now (4 months) - manager level - handling team & run office operational - matching with NOC description - full time
3a. For other occupations than the primary, should I write the NOC codes on each occupation corresponds with NOC 2011 list regardless if it's in the 50 eligible occupations?
3b.Between 2007-2014 I was in hospitality which the last 1.5 years I was a manager (0632) which I believe can also claim points for?
3c. And how do I calculate the additional points, by adding the working period to the Real Estate one?
Schedule A
Q7. Education
I did Bachelor & another 1 year Post Graduate Certificate (PGC) which consist of 6 months classroom study and 6 months internship which was prerequisite to actually complete the program. I sent both credential to WES, but WES only recognized Bachelor.
On the PGCertificate is written only the classroom period (6 months).
4a.I believe I can get 22 points for having both?
4b. Should I list the internship as well in this section & place a note to explain & claim the points?
if not then where, in section 8. Personal History?
5. Family refers to your spouse & children, common law partners and NOT your parents & sibling, correct?
6. Photos : so I should send only my photos as I'm single?
7. Sorry I perhaps either haven't reached the part saying no staples to bind the forms or maybe I missed it.. I've read in forum that we use paper clips only. Is this correct? Any other tips & tricks to make a good application bundle/package?-there are a LOT of papers.
Passport
8. Does it need to be notarized? I understood that only for papers which are not in English nor French should be translated and notarized.
There are different opinions in forums, it is just confusing... anyone succeeded without notarizing the passport?
9. I have no amendment of names or anything whatsoever- means page 4 & 5 are blank. Do we still need to include a copy of it?
10. Heard that to make process bit faster we should pay the fee of 550CAD and also the Right of Permanent Resident Fee 490 CAD (which is refundable anyway if the application didn't go through). It is however will be considered as overpayment, isn't it? Is this a good idea?
Hope to get some clarifications on that, can't wait to mail this out!
