Hi,
I'm applying under job code 2173.I'm now ready with all the documents to be submitted for CIC ..Can some one let me know if its suggested to send the documents now or its late as 2173 is top 3 filled as per the current status when checked in CIC .


Also pls suggest the mode of fee payment 1.DD 2.Credit Card which one is better?

One of my friend, 8th May applicant (2174), who is not registered on this forum, he got his PER on 18th Aug. He traveled to UAE for 2 days after sending his application, does he need to inform CIO or VO on this?

No. Visa office may request for updated travel form later.

He has to update VO if he went to UAE to stay for more then 6 months & if he wants to change his communication address.

Hi Swetha, do you really believe if someone tells you its too late to apply now , you won't go ahead and apply?

Please apply , there is no harm in trying . You won't lose anything .

I also think that atleast Files of applicants applied before 5th may are with NDVO. I assume that atleast 3000 applicants are going to apply for NDVO, with that number they atleast require to send 10 medicals per day to complete all applications in one year?????? Seems to be a herculian task ???????



APPLICANTS with New Delhi as VISA Office :- As per the response from APSK and Satyakam it is clear that files are getting transferred to NDVO after few days of getting the PER email but we are not getting any communications from NDVO... Seems NDVO have not started processing the applications yet or not planning to send AOR.. But Applications received till 7th and 8th May would have reached to NDVO by now as CIC is now processing PER for 13th/14th May Applicants... Seniors Any comments Please..

Woud like to know when I can claim / what should I expect to indicate "File transferred to local VO" status ?
Is that I will receive another email notification similar to PER or what ?

This is ECAS status when your file transferred to VO.
You may or may not get email from your VO on receiving the packet.

hiiiii.......i am a general nurse....i got my 3.5 years of diploma in general nursing and midwifery from karnataka nursing council...in my WES report my canadian equvalancy mentioned as "3 years of hospital study and certificate in midwifery".....am i eligible to get 21 points?????

Hi seniors, i understand that CIC is currently processing PER for 14th-15th May applicants. Does the number of completed applications posted by CIC on their site indicates the PER's issued on that particular NOC or is the CC/DD's encashed count? Really confused on this :

My wife is 14th May Applicants with payment mode DD. Just checked with bank, DD is not encashed yet.

Could you please let me know normally after how many days DD are cleared in past after first CC charge?

as per rule, it should be 21.
