From what I Understand from the posts and SS is that the 14th May applications are being charged right now and CIC hasn't started with 15th May, so don't worry, your application will be processed soon.

Hello Everyone,

I am not an active member. However, would like to update that I am a 2014 applicant under category 1112. My appliaction was received on 9th May and yesterday I received an email regarding the approval of my case. Since the email was sent to my consultant so i dont know what exactly it is.

I wanted to ask if this is the PER related email? And what to expect next?

Sad News!!
I have got mail from CIC stating that we got 66 points instead of 67 points. they have not considered my spouse's IELTS points. our DD was also en cashed.
So seniors can you please suggest what should we need to do?
should we apply again after my spouse IELTS exam? there will be any chance of getting into CAPs??

Did you send your spouse Ilets score?? If yes, what is showing her name on ilets result, her name with her father name OR her name with husband name? and what score she got?

DD encashed as per CIC : 17th july
DD encashed as per bank: 24th July
PER recd: 19Aug.
NOC: 2174

Good news is that - as last yr's trend It seems- Manila was a faster VO ...they processed max of the FSW13 file within 10 months...

I have applied for NOC 2171 on June 5 2014. Any idea when will i get my initial response? I am worries as it is already 10 weeks completed. Is there any contact number where i can call CIC and check for my application?

my spouse got 4.5 in Listening and they require 5 in Listening
so our file is rejected just for 0.5 in IELTS...

CLb 4 is fine ie L 4.5 R 3.5 W 4 S 4

And they should not reject for listening 4.5

You don't need to contact them. They will contact you when your number would come.

but if your wife score is S:4.0 W: 4.0 R : 3.5 and L:4.5, then u can challenge the decision..

I am not an expert but I think you should wait at least 100 days to get a response according to forum's spreadsheet.
