According to the OP6c, money should be refunded if PER is not issued as described in Phase: Eligibility Review. But we found 2 cases, where money has not been refunded. : :

There might be few possibilities, rare cases are always there.

Forum mates haven't received PER mail but PER mail might be in junk folder(Just a guess)

Refund may be on the way

If not then they can claim refund because it is their right to claim refund. As far as i feel its not always easy to get refund back...it is a time taking process. On a positive note CIC must have returned files so that applicants can atleast reapply, refund will be send later on.

Push back theory is actually controversial. There is no definitive proof/evidences.

You don't need to update the date. You just update in the remark column.

No need to worry about the additional documents, I believe you will not be pushed back in the queue. Here is the response I got from CIC few days back:

Dear Sir/Madam:

Please be advised that we currently have no record of your submission in our database. However, it could be in the queue for initial processing. If you wish to submit a status enquiry in 4 weeks, a further search can be done.

Please note: your file will be reviewed based on the information provided at the time. In addition, there is no guarantee that unrequested additional documentation sent separate from the application package will be matched to the file prior to review. Additional documents can be submitted to our office either via mail or courier at the address listed below:

Get clearance for visa on laptop in just seven days

NEW DELHI: The next time you are going abroad and need a police clearance for your visa, turn to your laptop. Delhi Police has launched an application that allows people to register and also pay for a police clearance certificate and be done with the whole process, which earlier took over a fortnight, within a week.

"The app has been developed to ensure a person does not have to approach the DCPs for clearance certificates," said a senior police officer.

The app was launched on Friday by Union home minister Rajnath Singh. Police said that the app can be used by individuals as well as organizations. The user simply has to enter his personal details on the Delhi Police website along with a passport size photograph, a copy of his/her passport and the letter from the embassy asking for a PCC.

Police officials said that a tab for the application will be made available on the Delhi Police website and also in the Delhi Police Lost Report app available on mobiles.

Earlier, a person had to get their PCC from their local police station and then have it stamped from the deputy commissioner's office. It used to take almost a month for applicants to get their certificates. With the app, the waiting period can be reduced to seven days and people can apply for PCCs from the comfort of their home.

They can also see the status of the certificate. "Once the certificate is processed, an e-version with a digital signature will be made available to the user," police said.

i am making my payment through DD .do i have to sign the fee payment form.
and is it compulsory to give a mailing label in hindi or punjabi as english is used for mailing purposes it will bw fine if i put both labels in english.

As my previous experience was in UK, the only letter they are willing to give is a general reference letter confirming the dates i have worked there, and the designation. They will not provide a list of duties neither will they confirm my pay as i was paid on an hrly basis, which varied according to the shifts I did.

This experience will not count towards 3142 as i was not working as an physio but as a health care assistant.

Can you please let me know if a generic letter as mentioned above is ok? If not, what can i do about the roles and responsibilites, number of hrs wrkd, pay etc as I will deftly not get this information from them in writing. Plus i am in india at the moment, and it makes things that much difficult to get all the required docs from UK.

If your employer won't give you such a letter, maybe one of your former supervisors or colleagues who knew your duties will do so?

It's ok if your pay was hourly but the letter should list the average or required minimum hours per week, whatever the situation was.

It may not count toward physio but if you can get a letter with your duties from someone other than yourself it will give you employment experience points.
