Update:


During FSW13 opening, after long waiting (since last time FSW was closed on 2012) I have applied on the very first day (May 04,2013) on NOC 2147. But unfortunately after waiting over 15 months my file is not having any satisfactory update or finishing. Still no trace when Singapore VO will start to send Medical request to its first FSW13 applicant. Max VO has already finished or in process to be finished FSW13 files very soon.

Since my wife is on US (for higher studies purpose) for last couple of years, I attempted to apply on last year to apply for second application package with the NOC 2132, but restricted myself for the CIC commitment that they gonna finish FSW13 files within a year....Alas, they cheated with us...

I was continuing my waiting that SGVO will send some good news within a few days.....But thing is not changing...waiting without any hope...without any trace...

Finally applied as spouse on NOC-2132 (Mechanical Engineer) today with the visa office of CPC-O. Hope this time God will not frustrate me....File should be reached on 8th Aug 2014....So officially I am now part of FSW14.....

By seeing the updates as of now. I think you don't have much chances on 2174 bro. But maybe express entry will have some chances!
But still If I were you I might try because you are not gonna loose anything except courier charges!

Recently I received my IELTS GT test report and got

overall band: 7
points: 5+6+5+5 = 21

The earliest possible date for GT by IDP is 6th September and test report will be received by he end of September.
I wanted to ask if I should take the chance or will it be too late by then? :'(

No one can predict absolutely.

But check for update this week on http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/complete-applications.asp
Also compare the data updated with the SS data.

Hope you will get a clarity by end of this week on the current status of number of applications which received PER.

A question regarding 2174 cap
Recently I received my IELTS GT test report and got

overall band: 7
points: 5+6+5+5 = 21

I needed 23 to score 67 points overall and now I cannot apply, thanks to British Council (I scored much better in Academic module by IDP)

The earliest possible date for GT by IDP is 6th September and test report will be received by he end of September.
I wanted to ask if I should take the chance or will it be too late by then? :'(

Re: DD is valid only for 3 months in all banks of india as per RBI rule

Many applicants had issues with CC being changed. Once your DD is made and valid for 6 months it can in no way be rejected. I am in way saying or claiming that DD is a risky option but it has its own limitations. If for some reason your CC payment deos not get through in the 1st attempt they will try 2 more time and if it fails they will send your application back.

I didn't get your point.

Anyhow, validity of Credit Cards is much longer than DDs. Why would you then not consider them safer ?

For last few days, I haven't noticed anyone sharing news on CC charged or DD encashed.
Has CIO stopped working. I think it was a holiday for them yesterday.

But what about today ?

Has CIO Sydney started charging CCs/DDs for apps received on 13th?

Just like the PER hiatus during the 7 May charging .. I believe there is a charging hiatus while 7 May PER are processed.

I think CIO is systematically balancing there resources to manage the huge initial influx of applications. I suppose there will continue to be a slowdown in charging of apps until 7-9 May PER are processed.

Need urgent help.
I am planning to send the FSWP application on last week of August 2014,
I have my IELTS done on December 2012 with 7.0 score band, these scores seems to be expired in 3 months after the application is received at CIC.
( IELTS score valid for two years )

Will my application be returned? Is it a good idea to take IELTS again and send a new IELTS report included in my application?

It is a tough call that no one can actually make. All we can do is hope !! You can try to do your exam in a neighboring country if possible

According to the NS governmental site, Natal day is NOT listed as a paid holiday. So, it is not clear if CIO employees worked yesterday or not.

Depends on loads of factors including which LVO itself...Some are notoriously very slow..Some not bad..and this year CPC-OTTAWA are in fact quite quick. ..

But I guess on average. .your file spends more time in the LVO since to they have to do more processing. ..BG checks. .etc

What experience is with New Delhi LVO. What is their average time with gud file. (forget about what CIC officially quotes)
