HI everyone

There is an question regarding form filling,

On document check list point no 21 is asking for mailing labels (self addressed)
Secondly they are asking for 2 mailing labels one in english other in official language of country of residence,

Can anybody say which address needs to be written, the mailing address or residential address since both are different in my case.
(mailing is india and Residential is UAE)

Please Help ASAP

It should be the mailing address which you have mentioned on the Generic Form .

What? Why would we lose all the data?
It's not me who created these issues with the spreadsheet - it's because of an update done by Google. I don't blame Google for this, as the changes they've made can be considered an improvement for particular cases, but it's still a rather aggressive spreadsheet behavior change from their side.
By the way, I wanted to tell that I've just finished fixing these issues. All 19 affected entries were successfully recovered/fixed and no data has been lost. Charts are now fixed as well.
Regarding data safety, the data is stored not only in the spreadsheet, but also separately as a list of form responses.
In addition to that, I've been backing up the spreadsheet regularly, and I've implemented automatic daily backups today.
Perhaps the only thing that could be improved here is to store those backups somewhere else, so that they can't be modified or deleted. Like on a magnetic tape ;D Otherwise, we have a fairly good backup system already.

Checked ECAS status just now and it is now "In Process - We received your application for permanent residence on May 9, 2014."!

i sent application this month and from what i understood i should waite for PER by email , is there a step or a way i could check before PER stage ?

hi friends.....I am sending my 10th class certificate as birth proof. But that document is in Punjabi as well as English....let me explain it by below example :

***********************************************************************************
Name/(Punabi word for name) - ABCD/(name in Punjabi)
Fathers Name(in Punjabi) - XYZ/(name in Punjabi)
***********************************************************************************

I think its fine as the informatin is also in English. I want to be 100 % sure..do i need t get it translated in English only ? or will this dual one do the trick ?

No problem . As long as all the relevant information (Your full name, DOB, parents names, Certificate issuing date,certificate issuing authority etc) are clearly written in English .

The doc checklist mentions them as supporting documents. If he has submittdd mandatory responsibilities/duties letter on a letter head then he is super dine

it should have been included as its clearly mentioned in the document check list . anyways if you send now it would be very difficult for cic to locate your file and then bundle up the application with the current mail of yours ...

but i would suggest is write a covering letter and send it to cic along with your current pay slips ( current organisation) .....

dont forget to mention important particulars like passport number and date of birth and application received date ....

There are duplication in the fees required for the members aged 22 and the child under 19 according to the new law

Which tables I should fill the new tables or the old? since both has the same meaning and the same fees?

Fill the the section with 19 years age limit as you will be filling your application after 1st August, the other part does not apply to you.

Q. I just received an email from WES requesting me to order a duplicate copy of my evaluation and requesting me to add CIC as the recipient. Why is this happening?
A. If you got your ECA before 18th April, 2013, then probably you have not signed up for WES FSWP package in which they allow an electronic copy of your evaluation to be available for the CIO to verify it online. Even if you have signed up after they became a designated authority, you may have accidentally subscribed to “WES Basic” instead of “WES FSWP Package”. Just follow the email and get the payment done ASAP so that CIO can verify your ECA online.

All the existing applicants are encouraged to login to there WES accounts and see Service level they have ordered, and upgrade to FSWP package BEFORE WES asks you to do so. If you do not order in time, your PER will be delayed or may jeopardize your chance of getting one.





REMEMBER: YOU NEED TO SEND ORIGINAL EVALUATION CERTIFICATE TO CIO WITH YOUR APPLICATION PACKAGE INSTEAD OF A COPY. Do not send it in a sealed envelope, just place it along with all your other documents.
