Brother it can be any phase of your application process, once your file gets transfered to local VO you will have background checks, enquires at your work place etc.if you pass all this...then there will be no chances of rejection, you will be headed towards your PR Cheers

Thanks Oscar ! My DD was actually charged on 13th June(per CIC email).. but my banker told me it was 19th June.
However, Since PER is getting geared up, other friends would soon receive the good news !

Does the ECAS status change post the receipt of payment...in case of DD...will the status change once the DD is encashed? or before that??
