It's 8th because you have sent packet on Friday. The packet will be hold up somewhere in the middle, because on Sunday packets will not travel from base location.

My suggestion is don't hold. Ur exp is as per NOC. They can't refuse u. U ll get PER if other doc r ok.

ur Father :Y
ur family: Z

That means :
Family Name will be : Z
Given name will be : X

ur father's name will not be mentioned

Am I correct?

My given name in the passport constitutes four names. So i write all of them. See the info by CIC below:

could you please clarify should I apply originals of english translations of documents, or it is enough just provide copies of translations?

I always was thinking that if document in english it is enough to send a copy where it is stated 'copies' in checklist; and if document is not in english we need make notarized copy of it an make translation and finally send original of translation not copies of them.

so where is truth? please advise...

QUERY #1 : Regarding Settlement Funds,

Is it okay if the statement and bank certification letter are before May 1st. Example : I have letters from 28th and 30th April, 2014. IS this fine or should I get proof which is of May 1st or later ?

QUERY #2 : Regarding experience letter, I am providing information such as salary in an Affidavit. I do need to mention that "my organisation does not provide those details" Where should I mention this particular sentence :
In the AFFIDAVIT
Or
In a cover letter

Translation of documents

Any document that is not in English or French must be accompanied by:
•the English or French translation; and
•an affidavit from the person who completed the translation; and
•a certified copy of the original document.


Note: An affidavit is a document on which the translator has sworn, in the presence of a commissioner authorized to administer oaths in the country in which the translator is living, that the contents of their translation are a true translation and representation of the contents of the original document. Translators who are certified members in good standing of one of the provincial or territorial organizations of translators and interpreters of Canada do not need to supply an affidavit.

Important information. Translations by family members are not acceptable.


Certified true copies

To have a photocopy of a document certified, an authorized person must compare the original document to the photocopy and must print the following on the photocopy:
•“I certify that this is a true copy of the original document”,
•the name of the original document,
•the date of the certification,
•his or her name,
•his or her official position or title, and
•his or her signature.


Who can certify copies?

Persons authorized to certify copies include the following:

In Canada:
•a commissioner of oaths
•a notary public
•a justice of the peace

Outside Canada:
•a judge
•a magistrate
•a notary public
•an officer of a court of justice
•a commissioner authorized to administer oaths in the country in which the person is living

Family members may not certify copies of your documents.

2. IMM0080ENU_2D:: Is national Identity document a mandatory field. Document gets validated if we dont enter anything so I am assuming it is not mandatory. please confirm

ur intended and current profession must be same as noc in the list of professions to avoid complications.
Write ur country ID otherwise blank no ptoblem
