Hi Ashif,
I've got an experience letter that meets all requirements listed on the Doc check list. But I had my employer redraft it to expand on my duties because the existing letter doesn't have enough bullet points listed. Instead of updating the existing letter, they have created a new letter. The new letter has incorrect start date. I can't get the letter fixed this week. Should I wait until next week and get the letter sorted out and then mail my packet or should I include both letters and add a cover letter explaining why start dates are different? I apologize for this really wordy query.

Question 1

What if there no expiry date ?

Brother can u please share ur country of residence...

In advance, if u r in INDIA, then they ppl dont have National ID card--Its Adhar card which will not be included on the app package...

Hi All, Help needed. I am from India , studied in USA and now working.

I am working as a IS analyst and consultant so NOC code in 2171.
One of the biggest question that I have is, in 2 -3 months I may move to Dubai for some good opportunity, and stay there.

What options do I have for PR application (office), USA or INDIA.

I mean where should I apply from.

Also, there is a question in one of the form, Generic form that ask what immigration office requested for your application

Evaluation done, IELTS done, FBI clearance done.

Another question is , I got FBI finger printing done and got a certificate from FBI which says my records are clear. Is there any other police certificate that i need to get.


What if my move to Dubai, do I have to give a police certificate or another clearance certificate later on or any police certificate from Indian embassy?

Any suggestions that where to apply from, INDIA or USA and what would be filled in the generic application form for either of the options.

What if we are not able to get experience letter from past employer.

From my current employer i can get the NOC 2171 description in the perfect format for since past 1 year as i am working with them. Others cannot get. Is it OK?

Any help will be appreciated.

1. FBI is enough..
2. U can apply under India/US ... for US (if are staying over a yr) then FBI is enough for PCC.
3. If prev employer are not willing to do that then,

"Reference letters in the required format are necessary, please try your best to get them. If after all efforts you are unable to obtain a work reference letter, then you should provide a solemn declaration / affidavit explaining in detail why are you unable to do so. The officers at the VO are aware of the fact that different employers have different policies towards issuing such adhoc letters and may not cooperate in issuing such a letter. Please do attach all your employment records with the declaration. I was unable to obtain a work reference letter from one of my employers and did the same. However please bear in mind that the final decision rests with the visa officer handling your case."

My question is regarding Job Experience.
Want to apply for NOC 4011.
I started working in an university as a lecturer on May 2010, worked for a semester. Afterword I got better opportunity at another very well known university so left the previous and joined there on September, 2010 and continuing.........
So if I consider the whole situation, from the starting till now I have the same profession-lecturer, same field marketing.
Should I consider my experience to be 4 years or 3 years here? Its the same occupation even though first 4 month in a different institution, so I am bit confused.

I qualify for more than 1 occupation in the finance group and have documentation that supports them.
Can I submit applications to each NOC to try my luck in all those occupations in case the cap is reached in one of them?
What if all of them are selected?

riends , i have one question ..

it is written in the check list that " in the reference letter of the employer, the annual salary of the applicant must be written. "

in my ref. letter it is not written, but i have included my appointment letter which shows my monthly salary as well as my six months salary slips.

do i still need to get new reference letter which includes annual income of mine or salary slips and appointment letter will do ?

I am in INDIA and I have already couriered the application to my sisters address in CANADA.
My sister is going to send the application packet to CIC from CANADA on behalf of me. I am using my sisters details to claim points for adaptability but not using her as a representative.

Will there be any problem if my sister sends my application to CIC or do I need to send directly to CIC from INDIA? Please do reply if some one has already done this.
