Hi Seniors,

Its a long wait for 71 days... from 1st-May and still no response from CIO for inquiry mail sent on 19th-June after 8 weeks from the date of application received.

I have few questions ...
Out of 17 application that was received on 1st-May, Why 4 application not processed yet?
Why visa officers at CIO are not replying to mail?
Will there be a mail communication for rejected application?

Thank you for your help , but forgive me , I'm not sure that I understand what's written on the website ... will my work experience count or not ? I'm not a teacher or a researcher , I was working as a Technician , part time job for 2 years , during my university study .. will that count or not ??

Most students work part-time during their studies at a university. Be it either as a TA, RA, GA, in Library, or others like Technician (your case).

CIC doesn't specifically deny accepting this as a valid experience, it only alludes that it is not possible to get sufficient experience while being a student.

Did you work for 15 hrs per week at least, for a period of 2 years. Then you do satisfy the requirement per se.

But your doubt as to whether this could cause an issue is genuine (it being not a standard experience). So only someone having the same experience can tell better.

I personally think they would accept it, because they accept part-time experience in general, for which wages are drawn.

Keep asking, someone else with that kind of experience might reply.

After 2 months of hectic “running behind documents “activities I was finally able to courier my application via UPS yesterday. It is expected to reach there by Monday. I will update the spreadsheet once that’s is reached.

I took 3 DD’s instead of single one ( 2*550 and 1* 150) , Secondly I did not get a Birth certificate so got an affidavit signed by Notary and also included a notarized copy of Secondary leaving Certificate which has date of birth. At this stage I am little worried about DD part but again let the time answers it

I checked multiple times not sure whether I missed anything. I am not going to think much at this time as this has already taken big chunk of my time in last 2 months and it was equally frustrating.

I applied for NOC 2281 computer Network Technician. Those who are filing for 2281, please get in touch with me, I can help me with your filings.

CIC received my application today signed by D.MCCURAY after couriering to PO address. My question is how many days it will take to know if my application passed completeness check and it will not be sent back to me ??

I have some concerns on my Date of birth and Exp. letters etc. (DOB does not have my name on it , so I attached Notarized 10th memo and Notarized Indian Voter's ID card)

Exp letter are very short and does not show all the details. (so I attached W2's and for pay slips since Jan 2014).

I am living in Canada since two years ago. CIC received my FSW application on May 5, 2014. I have chosen CPC-Ottawa as my visa office. Nonetheless, I have received a letter from CPC-Ottawa that my application has been transferred to Ankara to be processed. Does any body has the similar situation? Does anybody know the reason? Is this normal?

I was working for 18 hours a week, and of course it was a paid work .. it was for 2 continuous years

Let's see what Other experts on the forum will say about this , I also hope if anyone who was in the same situation tell us his story ..

How will he be able to send package without original IELTS? ?

IELTS dont give duplicate IELTS as far as i know and even if they do it will take time.

Hi just send the form together with explanation letter, got it from FSW13 applicant who has same situation and got PER.

Hi i have taken a dd and would like to keep cc as an alternative option as mentioned in the forum before.
In such case do i need to keep 2 fee payment formr or the same form with my explanation in the covering letter could suffice
