Please provide me with a link where I can do self assessment for FSW 2014 and find the score by myself other than automated thing! Before I take the formal step just want to make sure I have 67 score :/

Here is some info-

-3 years work experience
-Masters completed
-Age-29
-IELTS band score-7.0 (R-6.5, L-7.0, S-7.0, W-7.0)
-Have a sister who is PR holder but she's in Bangladesh now and will stay bit long time here. At least will not fly before end of this year.

ur score: 11+22+ 12+21(5+4+6+6) =66

now when u submit ur PR application , if ur sisters utility/bank statement/credit card statement or like this info is not over six months then u can claim 5 points...

Is the new NOC updated? Any body applying under HR Manager NOC?
Are we using the old forms?

NOC has alrady declared..so they will be not updated...But the forms---they have not updated yet...

Dear friends, D-day is here

Looks like the forms are same as last year. Considering its already past 12AM, May 1st as per Canada timezone
But anyways May 1st is a National holiday here in india, so all couriers are closed for today ;D

I have a query regarding Assets.

As aware - In schedule 3: we have columns to mention Assets, Liabilities, Settlement Funds.
And we must submit proofs for ONLY Settlement funds, but not for the assets we show (as per checklist)

Would like to know if there is any IMPORTANCE for amount of Assets. Like.. if Assets shown are high will they be considered as 'plus factor' for immigration.

In my case I just shown my bank balance as asset ..30,000 CAD and 20,000 CAD as Funds.

But just wondering If there will be any use / advantage to mention complete properties.
Me & wife have land property's of worth 2,00,000 CAD ; But I need to get affidavits if I have to show their market-values.

So wanted to check

Please advise.

The CIC page doesnot have Updated NOC list....

The will not be changed brother since they have already declared...

My designation was Operations Officer in an Oil Company ( The job duties were mainly supervising workers) Can anybody suggest which NOC I would write. I later moved to IT ( 2174) which would be my primary NOC.

Hi All ,

I have one query related to the reference letter , the letters which i got from my previous employers contains the detailed description of my work , which includes the technical terms ( coding language and testing tools ) which are not mentioned in the description of the NOC duties but the generic terms of the NOC duties are used intermittently , my question here is will they accept the reference letters with the technical description of the work you did .

Brother u should take a new letter for the better acceptance by CIC officers...

Its a veru important doc for whole PR application...So suggesting u to receive another copy in terms of the mentioned jobb details of the HRSDC site...

If we are confirming that forms will not be changed any more for 2014. The caps also should have been reset, right?
Could someone point link to that page.

Earlier that cap filled list (of 2013) was easy to find, I couldn't navigate to it today, just to confirm if CIO has refreshed the caps.

Yes job experience is prime factor. But just wondering if assets will be considered !!
I felt, as they are not asking to provide any proof for assets, it might not be consideration. :

Inshallah it will remain open...Coz on last yr it took over 2.5 mnths for 300 cap..
