I am applying for NOC 2174. I have 3.5 years of work ex. But my employer doesnt give job responsibility on letter head. I had a mail conversation with HR where he said as per company policy, same could not be given on letter head. Moreover my manager is also not ready to provide the same on an affidavit. If my immediate superviser (who is a Tech Analyst not a manager in designation) provide the same for me, will it be accepted by CIC or it has to be only declared by my manager?

Hi, this is acceptable especially if you provide all the roles and responsibilities matching those on NOC list and the contact details of your supervisor. His attached call card would be helpful. Others have done this in 2014 and received PER. All the best

Would there be an issue with my application if i renew my passport at the moment? I am married and until now, i am not using my husband's surname in my passport. I have applied for me, my spouse and kid in my FSWP 2014. My passport is getting expired and im already decided to carry my husband's surname. If i renew now, would there be a problem with my application? Pls help me.

I think, it should not be an issue. You have to inform your VO about he changes. You can have interest on the below quote.

I am short of just 1/2 points out of 67. I decided to redo the IELTS but been very busy & now a days bit free. Can you Pl tell me for finance how many applications received so far? And if I redo IELTS it will take app 1 month till result, what do u think for that, Quota will be open till next month?

Just out of curiousity, maybe Ashif Bhai can respond to this. I noticed from the 2013 spreadsheet that none of the Singapore VO applicants have been issued PR visa yet. Am I right in understanding this?

Doesn't that mean that there is a huge backlog at Singapore VO? If so, then 2014 applicants like me are likely to have to wait for a couple of years for a final status!

Ok, what about Fee encash part? does it get charged before rejecting the application? The reason I ask is because they encash your CC/DD if they find your application package to be complete in terms of docs checklist, however, if they see any major issues with the kind of docs attached, they reject the application.

Is it possible to be rejected after fee enchashed?
