I am applying for NOC 2174. I have 3.5 years of work ex. But my employer doesnt give job responsibility on letter head. I had a mail conversation with HR where he said as per company policy, same could not be given on letter head. Moreover my manager is also not ready to provide the same on an affidavit. If my immediate superviser (who is a Tech Analyst not a manager in designation) provide the same for me, will it be accepted by CIC or it has to be only declared by my manager?

Hi, this is acceptable especially if you provide all the roles and responsibilities matching those on NOC list and the contact details of your supervisor. His attached call card would be helpful. Others have done this in 2014 and received PER. All the best :)

Hi...

Would there be an issue with my application if i renew my passport at the moment? I am married and until now, i am not using my husband's surname in my passport. I have applied for me, my spouse and kid in my FSWP 2014. My passport is getting expired and im already decided to carry my husband's surname. If i renew now, would there be a problem with my application? Pls help me.

I think, it should not be an issue. You have to inform your VO about he changes. You can have interest on the below quote.

1st of all, I am not expert but tried to find the answer:

And during application process:

I have changed my surname or family name recently. What name should I use to access CAS?

You can access CAS using the surname or family name on your submitted application.

If your name changed during the application process you must update CIC.

For in-Canada or online applications, use our online form.
If you applied outside of Canada, tell your visa office.

Once your name has been changed in your file, you will be able to access Client Application Status (CAS) using your new surname or family name.

I legally changed my name. What do I have to do to change the name on my PR card?

If you legally changed your name and you want your new name to be on your PR card, you must send an Application for a Permanent Resident Card to the mailing address at the bottom of the application form. Make sure to include the documents required to support your name change, which are listed in the Application for a Permanent Resident Instruction Guide.

Thanks Century. How will is inform the Visa Office then? As of now im still waiting for the great news from CIO. Pls give me your advice.

Just out of curiousity, maybe Ashif Bhai can respond to this. I noticed from the 2013 spreadsheet that none of the Singapore VO applicants have been issued PR visa yet. Am I right in understanding this?

Doesn't that mean that there is a huge backlog at Singapore VO? If so, then 2014 applicants like me are likely to have to wait for a couple of years for a final status!

Hello All,

Please go thru the below Link as per the CIC Update on 2014-06-25 they have Processed 401 Applications and 2174 being highest with 106 Apps, or i think this might be a late news already

Ok, what about Fee encash part? does it get charged before rejecting the application? The reason I ask is because they encash your CC/DD if they find your application package to be complete in terms of docs checklist, however, if they see any major issues with the kind of docs attached, they reject the application.

Is it possible to be rejected after fee enchashed?
