AOR Received.: 23rd Aug 13

I understand what App. Filed is and what AOR Received date is .

But what is Nomination date ?

This what is the PER ...

On earlier times, applicants had to get the "NOMINATION" from CIC first...then they need to submit with full package of documents to local Visa office....

It has renamed to new name----"POSITIVE ELIGIBILITY REVIEW( PER ).

But Canadavisa.com have not changed this name yet....

Which May 7th applicants received PER? I dont see any of 7th May applicants posting here and also there's no one in the sheet.

All May 6th applicants are still waiting for PER. May 7th will take time to get PER at least a week.

I am almost there with my application but I need some clarification. I know might have been answered earlier but have no time to search. Seniors can you help please!! What am I to show in these fields?


Assets - xxxxx
Liabilities - xxxxx
Settlement funds - xxxxxx

I have fixed deposit for required settlement funds, also I have property plus a mortgage (I know equity on property is not used as POF) but wouldn't I have to show in assets and mortgage in liabilities?

You have to enter the value of property (house, car etc) + your money in bank in the assets. Enter the amount you owe in mortgage as liability, and enter the amount in your bank as fixed deposits in settlement funds. The amount you have in the settlement funds is the one that's really important.

Try to go to ur nearest Notary Public....Usually they used to have the authentic translators...(atleast for my country)...

So try to contact there first....

I send my application on 17-June-14 and it will reach CIC by Monday 23-June-14.I sent my application with IMM0008ENU March form(old form) and justnow i found out that CIC has updated new form IMM0008ENU-July.Will it effect my application with old form IMM0008ENU as new form was updated on 17june and enabled for printing on 19june i guess. ?

There aren't too many applicants for this NOC yet. And since the cap is 1000, there is a good chance the cap won't be met for another 1-2 months at the least looking at the current trend. So you definitely have a chance if you start now and get things done ASAP.
