well..PF is a part of your settlement funds, so i guess you surely can show it as proof. I did it with my application sent for Nova Scotia Nominee Program. Regarding the receipt, http://members.epfoservices.in/index.php register here, submit your PF number and you can take a print out of the balance...

I have couple of queries:

1) i have been recently married and would apply for my spouse PR as well can you please let me know do we require any other document other than :
a) Birth certificate
b) Marriage certificate
c) Passport copies, i have recently traveled to Thailand, so do i need to take photocopy of Visa pages as well ?

Do i need to furnish her education details and job details as well ? i.e offer letter, releiving letter, salary slips etc ??

2) I have got heavy amount transferred to my account today ? Is it fine in supplying the account statement ? does CIC suspect heavy amount being transferred just before file submission ?

it will not indicate when u have transferred money

Just register in www.wes.org
register and pay the fees apportioned to you.
you will be required to send photocopies of your highest academic degrees to WES by courier.
You will be requested to also mandate your academic institution to send your academic transcripts to WES by courier.
After this,WES does verification with your academic institution behind you back.
When its completed...you get two(2) copies of your ECa sent to you.
Duration is circumstantial....it may take between 2 weeks to 10 weeks depending on your school's response to WES's verification mail.
Thats just a summary of what i went through....Mine took 8 weeks....others have done it in 2 weeks....yours may be faster or slower....but you need to start NOW.

In the generic application form under PERSONAL DETAILS Question 10. It asks for the duration in the current country of residence. What should I fill under "To"?
Given that I am student living in the US since 2009 but I don't know when I will leave, so I know what to put under "From" but not what to put under "To".

Any help?

Dear Vai,

I have applied FSWP2013, but application returned due to CAP reached.
The explanation letter they provided to me have no UCI number (or any client identification number) on that. Just my name and mailing address.
But of the returned documents on the GENERIC APP FORM- IMM0008ENU, on Question 3, they write a 8 digit number. This number do not work when i try to see my application status as per CIC website now.

My question is do i have to put that 8 digit number with my this year's application (GENERIC APP FORM IMM0008, Question3)??


2. Is over qualification impact negatively in application. last year i applied as Engineering Manager and this year intended to apply as Computer Network Technician (2281). will this cause me any trouble? Do they keep detail information (like: Job duties) of returned applications ?

i have the same concern as now i look to apply under 2281 however i applied for 2147 last year. Provided UCI # is handwritten. Do they really keep a track of previously written job duties as i am about to modify it a bit to better suite to 2281 ??

Your application was returned because CAP was reached - CIC didn't start processing your application so that's why you can't see any information when you try to check status with your UCI number - I think that you can see info only if the processing of your application has started. Somebody correct me if I'm wrong.

Yes brother u should put UCI number on generic form...But if u get the job duties of 2281 ...still u r eligible with this NOC..

Becoz, Some one can hve duties to his employment over one NOC that are described on HRSDC site..

Its very logical...Even CIC have the records...i feel u are eligible totally..

Just adding a point ---try to give some points that ur provided earlier on CIC on ur duties letter...(not over 20%) that u do on ur employment...

Hello bhaiya!
I have written you before regarding Education credential assessment (giving me real trouble to fix what to do). Is this certificate required at the initial stage when someone will submit the file! I asked few people and looked at the website but couldn't find any info!
I have written my postgrad uni in UK asking for official sealed certificate but sadly no reply! I am sure I am not the only one who's facing this trouble. If you know anyone as my case can you tell me his or her attempt on it!

Yes ECA (original)must be included on the App kit ...

Its a bit critical....coz WES has not tell the procedure how to take the True copies and the WES form from the univ aothority,,,,usually max of the applicant are doing physically....So I can suggest u to take the necessary sealed envelope by someone who are familiar to u on the closer proximity of univ on UK(if possible)...other than this i dont have musch idea how u can manage it....

I would not want to say yes or No.
Why dont he just pick up one of the two options and apply?
If he applies to the two options....he will still be requested to step down from later if both processing are successful so why not step down before applying?
My advice....stick to your strongest NOC application rather than two.

Is it compulsory to send the IELTS document together with the application package ?

My IELTS TRF was lost when CIC returned my application. I contacted British council and they told me that they can send the TRF to CIC directly and dont deliver it to me.
And to get a duplicate copy is much time consuming. I have to report it to police; provide police certificate and they will manage to provide duplicates (takes around 4 weeks).

So please suggest what shall I do.
