Name of institution should be the College Name or the University Name and for School it should be the school name or Name of the examination Board? school name

Under Personal History
What is the column meant as STATUS IN COUNTRY should be citizen or the type of visa you were using, if not a citizen

I'm confused over barcodes, where could we generate that among available forms? Heard that it has to be placed in the foremost front of our application, true??

They will appear when you validate the generic form.

In theory they should go on top of the application, but the document checklist also states that it should go on top of the application. Either one will work.

Use the last line to refer to an annexure. Then provide an annexure with the rest of the information. Be sure to carefully state the form and question and applicant to which the annexure is referring.

How come validating the form before printing avoid the delays in my applications' processing time? ???

Because validating generates bar codes that can be used to easily feed your information from the form into their computers. If you hand-write the form it must be entered manually.

This wouldn't affect your position in the cap but it might affect how fast they act on your application.

Wait until your local VO contacts you. At that time provide them a written explanation that you sincerely forgot, and that you wish to update them with the correct information. Provide a full explanation of the circumstances and reason for the refusal.

Hey, thanks for clearing up. On this forum I read somewhere that one has to score a minimum of 6 in each of the four categories. Since SaudiExpat has scored 5 in one category, he would not be eligible. But if what you saying is correct than cheers to you mate.

That's true. But he did score above 6 in all categories, he scored 7.5. 6+6+6+5 is the number of POINTS on his FSW application he will receive for scoring 7.5 in all bands of IELTS.

I think CICs next update will be on the 20th. exactly 2 weeks from last update i.e. 6th june. I think it will take them till mid july to process mid may applications...

My problem is that I worked only one year on the position listed under FSW occupation list, it was 3years ago. Before that I was only the assistant in different company and I have the reference letter as well from them.
After that one year of work in eligible occupation from FSW list, I was unemployed for one year and then I worked only as permit expediter. Should I take reference letter form my last job as well even though its not the position I apply for visa to Canada?
Please advise

You can get points for any experience at skill type 0 or skill level A or B, provided you have demonstrated that you actually have that experience, via the reference letter or the best supporting documents you can provide. So it is to your advantage to provide letters for all your experience. The only one that is absolutely crucial is the one that established the minimum 1 year in your primary NOC.
