Can you also confirm whether CIC, after stamping the passport with the PR visa, sends that passport to VFS or directly the passport owner? In any case, does CIC send it via regular mail? Earlier, someone was suggestiing using a pre-paid courier (Fedex/Ups/DHL) envelope along with the passport so that CIC avoids the regular-mail option.

Regular mail is just risky.

For Bangladesh, u will have to submit ur Passport by VFS and u will have to receive it from VFS too...


For other countries, there are various options are involved, u may heard of them......


So no worry ...

ohh k..my application was rejected due to cap reach..
however in d cover letter in d beginning it is written that cic have completed assessing ur application
and ur rejected because ur not eligible to apply in this category..
but later in the next paragraph it is again written dat ur application was returned due to cap reach..
so im confused now..wat was d exact reason gor my rejection?.?

The number you mentioned does not seem valid UCI number...first reason stands dominant as compare to second one...
this might be also the case they tried you in different noc and later that noc is even filled out...hope you understood...

Ya I am not planning for exact amount. But what buffer amount we should plan.. Dollar rates are increasing like anything. May be what we are considering now at the time of application can be too little when our application is reviewed... thats what I was wondering....Can you specify some random value we can consider enough for 2 persons.

I took the 60 multiplier (for INR) to be safer side and then rounded off the amount to +1 L.
In your case, for 2 members, 14720 x 60 = 883200. >> 9.5L would be a safe play.
And I preferred the Balance Certificate instead of Bank Statement.

Dears,

I have applied as FSW (application reached 7th MAY 2014, still waiting for CIC response) I have a few questions on points calculations:

1. EXPERIENCE: my experience is more than 10 years , but expereince letter i sent were having only my designation, work duration and salary. Job description is not included. Will it effect?

2. IELTS: overall my IELTS score is 7.5 in all 4 categories, i calculated 6+6+6+5=23 as language points , is it corrent way ?

3. My age now is 35 and I will turn to 36 in coming November , what age score I will get , can I get max. points 12 ?, technically speaking I am in 36th year of age but crossed 35 years (born 1978 NOV ) .. confusing right?

4. My degree is bachelors in engineering (4 years) what score I will get 23 or 22 ?

please reply as i am nervous, tense and stressed.

In NOC Classification document, i can read that 0113 category - Purchasing Managers are expected to have professional certificate like SCMP (Supply Chain Management Professional) etc

I have done CPP (Certified Procurement Professional).. where should i mention this.. its not a degre..

There are 2 Credentials

1. The HSC (10 + 2) is written as

Canadian Equivalency: Secondary School Diploma
Length: 2 Years

2. The Bachelors is written as

Canadian Equivalency: Bachelors Degree (4 years)
Duration: 4 years

So kindly confirm if it is 21 or 22. The above is exactly what is written in the report

Looks like 21. Because 22 points are for A 3 year or more post-secondary credential in combination with any of the post-secondary
educational credentials** listed below. This excludes secondary school credentials.

Others might know better. Just my interpretation.

Do we need to include the WES report in the original sealed package as recieved from WES for CIC Application. Or we can open the WES Report and include the report opened?
