Yes you need to UK as well. It took me 15-18 days after sending my application form and documents to get UK PCC. Their process is very simple as also can be found in the website referred above by a fellow user to you.

Sorry to hear what you've gone though. I believe when you are free and have a new life in Canada a nice Canadian man will be waiting for you.

You need to mention your husband on the generic form and fill out all forms for him as best you can. I understand that he may not cooperate with you, so just do the best you can and explain this all to CIC. Include copies of any documents you have on the legal separation and so on. I understand it's painful but it must be done.

If you got a UCI before, you should include it.

Do I need to have extra funds to show to CIC in my accounts for my husband as dependent , although I am NOT applying it for him OR can I have the amount for one principal applicant (which is approx around 6-7 Lakhs )

Thanks for correcting me in case I am wrong. Certainly I am no legal expert and will not claim to be one. I tried clarifying on a popular misconception between getting "certified true copies" made and "notarization", but if I made an error I am happy to be corrected. Cheers mate!!

Bro, I too not a legal expert. I got the information when I google it. No where it is mentioned that notarization should be done in stamp paper. Instead signing by a notary after checking the authenticity of the document. Bcz i haven't seen any where that all document copies should be certified. So only asked you.

If the person is already in Canada then I believe funds are not required to be shown for him/ her. Guys feel free to correct me on this one, if so required. Cheers!

Which country are you in? My courier readily accepted. Although it is a PO Box address but it is normally signed for by someone like in my case.
Try with a different courier company.

Couriers generally refuse taking document for PO Box addresses and accept document only for physical addresses. But that does not mean every courier will abide by this mantr@! However it is quite standard that courier companies do not prefer to deliver at a PO Box address, since PO Box address is not as standard as a physical address and the courier guys see it as a risk of later being blamed for delay in delivery or even worse non-delivery due to loss etc.

I don't have a affidavit format per se. And I believe one should get a separate affidavit for each of the translated document. A notary should be able to help with the affidavit format, or ashif, Century and/ or other members here can guide you mate. Good luck!

If all your translation is done by one translator, to me, there should not be any problem to use only one affidavit. However, as your documents will be organised according to document checklist, so not necessarily, all your translated copy will go in same serial. So, better, make each translation independent so that the officer don't need to move back and forward checking with your affidevit.
