Dear Forum members,

I received my passports with visa on 16th March. My company wants to retain me and are offering me a position in US on L1 visa. Unfortunately, they don't have one in Canada at the moment. My question is if application for L1 visa affect my PR in Canada?
In case my L1 visa is processed, I plan to go to US first, stay there for few months and then do the landing in Canada to confirm my PR.

Hello Everyone!! I have been a silent reader in this forum. I have known a very good information through this forum. I thank one and all for the support. My ECAS status was changed to DM on last Friday! I just wanted to know, what is the time line to receive PPR email?

We received your application for permanent residence on June 2, 2014.

We started processing your application on October 24, 2014.

Medical results have been received.

A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision.

Sooooooooooooooooooo happy now so can't even express myself!!!!
Feel little sad to leave Dubai since we lived here for almost 15 years, and had a good life. But very excited about our new destination and home land and sure that life there will be even better!!!! Everything is done for the future of our kids!!!!!

After how many days your third line got updated on ecas post your medical tests ?

Reason for asking this is because I am waiting for the third line ...

My family went for the medicals on 9th Feb and I could see the third line that day only although a point to be noted here is that I alone went for my medicals in october..

Minimum 2 blank pages and passport valid for 6 months

Happy to share that 3rd line got updated in ECAS even before i sent the PCC and RFPR fee. I have taken medicals on 19th March 2015 @ GYD hyderabad at 6 in the evening, got my 3rd line updated today. ( March 24th 2015) . I am sending my PCC and RFPR tomorrow .
