Hi mates!

Just received this :

"Based on a review of the information you have provided, your application has received a positive determination of eligibility to be processed on the basis of work experience in an occupation specified in the Instructions issued by the Minister of Citizenship, Immigration and Multiculturalism and published in the Canada Gazette on May 1, 2014. However a final decision on your eligibility to be selected as a federal skilled worker will be made by a visa office.

Your application has now been placed into processing."

In my opinion it was pretty fast, as our papers were delivered in Sydney the 2nd of May. NOC 2174

Hope you guys get a positive answer soon.

congrats!

Follow immigrants,

Just wanted to check, for how long should one keep the funds.

Can we use the funds after the PER is received or after the file has been transferred to the VO, or until the PR is issued.

Also, let's say the requirement is to show 21000 CAD and I have shown 40000CAD, can I use the 19000CAD or One should wait till PR is issued.

Thanks for your help.

Any thoughts please....

Ideally you can use funds as long as you maintain 21000 CAD balance. Use and top it off. This you should maintain until arrival in Canada, and definitely one can be asked at point of entry, or at your local VO.

I don't see any problem in using the 19000 CAD that is in excess anytime, starting right now.

If there are any different views, please feel free to add. Cheers!

Now we know why there were no news for any CC charged today as CIC was busy in updating the website :P

Interestingly, so far we have not heard of any DD encashment or DD applicant getting PER email form 5th May.

Looking at the numbers released by CIC 1112 and 2174 are the Hottest NOCs.
