What I mean is that meds are only one of a number of admissibility assessments which are put in processing at the same time.

So OK, you can see line 3. But it doesn't take into account the other checks. When the file is complete it moves to the IPM for final review. But once again the countdown starts with selection decision (eligibility passed) not 'ecas meds received status'.

3rd line update finally...haha

so i got medical request on january 14th 2015 and i undergone exam on Jan 24th. But didnt get any 3rd line update on e-cas, so i sent out an Email to NDVO asking if they received my medicals. They replied on march 14th that my medicals were received and my file is on final stage of processing. And finally, 3rd line Updated yesterday on March 16th 2015.

As I communicated earlier that I received the MR,PCC and RPRF request on Thursday. Initially I applied throught a consultant but now I feel that I can take it forward myself. Just need a little guidance from all the seniors here:

Medical: Complete or provide proof of completion of the Immigration medical Examination to be completed by you. This must be received at this office by: 2015/04/13
Currently I am in Kolkata and I have taken 20/03/2015 appointment with the doctor. Do I Need to send the receipt or medical results or will the doctor upload himself on CIC website? Send the medical receipts or tracking sheet. Hospital will upload the results

RPRF: Pay the Right of Permanent Residence fee for yourself. This must be received at this office by: 2015/04/13.
I have paid the fee online and have taken a printout. Do I need to send the receipt. Do I need to get the receipt attested?Take a print out of it. Fill the empty details

Police Certificate: From each country/state where the residence period has been six months or longer since the age of 18, provide an original police clearance certificate for you from India. This must be received at this office by: 2015/04/13
As my permanent address in Patiala thus I have applied for PCC (Police Clearance Certificate) there. Do I need to get another Police Certificate from Kolkata as I have been staying here since a year or will a single certificate from Patiala solve the purpose? Is there any particular format (to be downloaded from CIC Website) or will the certificate issued by police department solve the purpose? One PCC will suffice. Go for PSK or Commissioner office

Passport Photocopies: Do I need to share the attested photocopies or just the normal photocopies? Normal Photo copies

Apart from these documents do I need to send anything else to the immigration office?

Should I send using a courier service or Indian Postal service? Use Courier Service

Kindly help me with these questions as I am really worried if I will be able to send the documents properly.

(NDVO lost my pcc )
6th Feb 2015 11.00 AM -- Fortunately I had PIC/PHOTO of PCC in my Iphone so I send them PCC in one hour.

NO news in Feb and half March and all May applicants got DM / PPC / PR.
Almost lost hope here but I got Australia PR in Feb ;D ;D ;D

17 March 2015 Magic happened DM
18th March 2015 11.55 AM PPR

Just wanted to inform you all that I have collected the stamped passport today from VFS office, Bangalore. The journey that started in Feb-2013 has finally come to an end. ( Yes, I was applicant in FSW-13 also but could not make it back then due to CAP. Took my IELTS in Feb-2013 ). The Phase I of this journey is over and now the time has come to embark on phase II - landing, job, settlement.

I want to thank each and every member of this forum for the contribution that we all are making towards a common cause. Let the good work keep flowing. I would be happy to help members with whatever little knowledge I have regarding the application processing.

Finally the Great Day for me arrived today. My wife, our kid, and I went to VFS Islamabad today to pick our passports with the Beautiful Canadian PR Visas stamped in all of them!!! Hurray!!!

The Confirmation of Permanent Residence documents also accompanied all 3 passports.

Date of Application: 9 June 2014
PR Visa Received on: 18 March 2015

I'll update the SS shortly... Best wishes to all waiting for different stages of the PR process and hope you all realize your dream of Canadian PR soon...

Although I know that it would have been discussed multiple times in this forum, I am unable to find what is the next step?

Few questions:
1. How do I send the passports to CVAC? By courier or personally?
2. Are there any charges for the application now?
3. By what timeframe do I expect my passport to be back? Would it be sent by courier?

I have received my PPR though would have been happier if NDVO had allowed stamping to be done in South Africa itself. Now I'm not sure if I can send my passport with my wife to India with an authorization letter and if it is legal to get it stamped in India when I'm not in the country. My passport wouldn't have had an entry or exit into the country. I'm just worried if this would cause problems for me in future. Can one of you please advise?

I have also updated the SS and my timelines are as below:-

I would like to thank all valuable members of this forum without which i wouldn't have reached this far...

My consultant first told that my application could not be forwarded unless experience certificate is issued in company's letter head... But only after referring this forum I collected a reference letter from one of my colleagues which lead me to this situation.... Thanks a lot for all the advice again...

My consultant have got the email for Medical request , RPRF and PCC in one email , but they did not received the medical forms. I talked to them and they told me that we should wait for 2 days before asking NDVO again. Pls suggest if this normal that I did not received the medical forms. I have to submit everything by 14th April.

I do quite a lot of reading pertaining to the process. Plus, I have been working for the government of my home country in a related field, hence I know how to push pencils, so to speak.

depends on location

1) Canada-based applicants can apply for notes directly (ATIP CIC)
2) Overseas applicants need to have somebody based in Canada apply on their behalf using a consent form
